    Five-time Pro Bowler. Guard. Old.

If we could pay him a reasonable amount, is he worth adding to the mix, or will he want more than his old legs are worth?

Guard is certainly still a need for us, but we've already sunk a LOT of resources into the O-line.

I'd take him if the price is right. He may be a stopgap for one or two years, but he can still play IMO.

Given his age I doubt he'd be all that expensive. I'd like for us to bring him and Leonard Davis in (at least to camp) and see what they have in the tank.

Problem with Davis is you lose a lot of your screens, outisde runs (pulling) etc. He ain;t a nimble second-level blocker... and with Reggie Bush in the house, I would love a guard who could pull decetly.

That said, Waters' old legs aren;t much better off than Davis.. but he IS more mobile.

Would you want Davis at LG or RG?

Agree with that, Sparano has said he is not going to juggle the Oline this yr, but you'd have to think a Vet can pick it up easily enough.
