Well, the Pats are taking a look. I'm curious whether the Dolphins pursued Waters at all, and he declined, or if we have shown no interest. Clearly, once the Pats saw what was available after the roster cut-downs, they decided that Waters was a good pick-up. Hopefully we compete to sign him as well. He'd be a day one starter here. Same for Gurode. With the Miami-Dallas links, we have a better chance of landing Gurode. I have a feeling Waters, with lots of Pro Bowl berths but no Superboowl rings, will choose the Patriots.
Ravens signed Gurode. Apparently our O-Line is too good, but these perennial playoff teams really need help . Could be one reason they are always playoff contenders, they always look at players and give them a shot. Couldn't hurt the Dolphins to have tried them out especially since they were around for pre-season.
