Actually he came into a playoff ready Giants team that had the greatest defensive player to play the game....Took him a few years to get back to the playoffs, his team lost a few key players, Parcells took off.

Took over a very average Pats team, made them better, but then in the draft the year they went to the Superbowl, he wanted a DT instead of a Receiver, luckily Kraft the owner wanted this kid by the name of Terry Glenn....if not for Glenn, Pats are lucky to reach the playoffs, the following year he saw there would be no way the Pats could match that again, and he did not like how the owner made him look bad with a better call for a key player in the draft, so he took off.

Took over a bad Jets team, took a few years and was able to get a Jets team that started horribly to end up with the 2nd best record that year in the AFC.....the following year, with a few injuries, Parcells has to actually coach to get his team back in the playoffs, and proves unable to do so, so he takes off again the years after.

Took over a very average Cowboy team in 2003 and started a trend of having up and down years that produced a Record of 34-32.

Not saying Parcells is a bad HC, in fact he is a great motivator, and very good at prepping a team the week before, to go along with being an average game day coach and slightly less then average draft evaluator.

What I am saying is that if we were to get rid of Cam, there are better candidates who would not leave at the 1st sign of trouble. Also even though he is one of the better HC out there, with a 172 130 (.569%) he is not as great as many think he is.
