"Sauls guy" pretty irrelevant. But the scenes for next week seems like Saul is speaking to him in a plain room. Who knows. My call for the next 2. His family gets killed or captured by nazis......Walt comes out of hiding (flash forward hes 52, in new hampshire and using fake alias with hair and new glasses).....goes back to his vandilized home with a gun to get ricin. He either is killing nazis or capturing his family. Where Jesse falls in this I don't know. **** is insane. I cried like 5 times...
Dude, when the entire family was fighting and Walt Jr called the cops on Walt I shed a tear. Very sad moment. I have hated Walt for a long time and felt he had redeemed himself when he offered all his money to find Hank.. Only to hate him more for what he was willing to put Jessie through and his final comments to Jessie. Walt is a psychopath that is constantly justifying his behavior.
I am torn on Jesse too, Not a huge fan of his new role. Also it was pretty obvious that Walt said those things to Skyler to prove her innocence. Also poor Walt jr. What a day he is having! que the Bad Luck Walt Jr meme coming soon
Bryan Cranstons acting while acting HARD but crying like a baby to keep his family from jail was incredible. **** man......amazing acting.
Bullcrap!! Think about what Walter has done to Jessie.. Poisoning Brock? Killing Mike? I get that they were partners, but if Walter had a shred of consciousness he could easily see why Pinkman flipped. Jessie was obviously very troubled earlier in the season, especially when he was throwing his money away. Walter knew this. Since Walter is incapable of seeing anything outside himself, of course he would blame Jessie for Hank dying, when in fact it was Walt that called the Nazi's and Walt that led everyone down this path.
Amazing episode. My prediction: Walt will have his revenge on the Nazis. They are too vile to come up winners in any way shape or form. But there will be no redemption for Walt with his family. I think in the end the cancer gets him. And there will be the scene with his son watches him die all while still considering him a monster. I could be wrong, but that's been my prediction for almost 2 years now, so I'm sticking to my guns!
I do think Breaking bad owes netflix for its huge following now. I mean thats when I started to watch. I always wanted to but never got the chance. Netflix gave me the chance to catch up and be able to watch like I do now
I started to watch it regularly starting with season 4. AMC showing the series from the very beginning during the show's off season is what got me hooked.
I caught up end of season 4. The finale where Gus dies was my first episode live. I remember missing class because I lost track of time because I was hooked
Netflix is how I have started watching a ton of shows... How I Met Your Mother, Blue Mountain State, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The IT Crowd... the list goes on. However when Best Buy had the first four seasons on sale for $10 a piece, I jumped on that and re-watched everything before season five started.
Shows are smart to release their shows on Netflix, especially shows that struggle gaining viewership but has a strong cast and a small supportive following. Especially shows where if you miss one week and are so lost you just give up on it. If people love it enough, they will buy the DVD and other merchandise to support it, like Breaking Bad. 24 is on Netflix but I own the complete series.
I thought the ending w Jesse being their cook slave would be a pretty great way to leave his character if they want to. I felt bad for him at some points but he's done enough **** that makes him far from innocent.
Wow. Initial thoughts: Fantastic episode... The Walt and Hank scenes were incredible. Hank went out like a champ. Even Walt trying to save his life was sad. Interesting that the Nazi's jacked his 70 million... As if a guy like Walt would ever allow that slight to go unpunished. Also, I don't think the Nazi's vandalized his home. Probably the skater punk kids at house if anything. They have no reason to go after Walt in anyway whatsoever. Obviously, that scene with the neighbor means Walt is nationwide news. I was wondering if Walt was going to let Jessie go when they showed him under the car... I guess it's because Walt and Jesse have such an up and down relationship but they always seem to get their **** together in the clutch moments. Truth is, both of them have helped and hindered each other. Hard to say who was the worse friend, tbh. Their relationship is finally broken... But... I still have this nagging feeling that somehow, Walt will save Jesse. They'll never be friends again, they'll never respect each other, but still... Walt might save him, if only to save himself. Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker? Walt fell to the darkside, became corrupted, turned his only son over to the emperor, and in the end, went out a hero. I know Vince Gillian said this series is about the protagonist turning into the antagonist. I do think Walt will muster up one last heroic moment though. The phonecall with Skylar was also interesting. While there was a lot of truth (from Walt's perspective) to what he was saying about Skylar being an ungrateful *****, I do think that he was interested in getting her off the hook. Taking responsibility for the whole thing, admitting being responsible for Hank, etc... He obviously knew the police were involved since his son called them. Agree with SICK, the acting in that scene was unreal. Bryan Cranston just won another emmy. My biggest criticism is the scene with Walt Jr. and his parents. Which I kind of hated... She attack's Walt and Jr. calls the cops on him? Skylar's bipolar personality is such a dues ex machina. That scene with Holly at the end was sad. I'm not sure where the end is going. Walt is coming back, no doubt... The only reason he would come back is for his family, right? Can anyone else think of another good one? I also suspect the Nazi's have to be involved, their storyline isn't ending. They stole from Walt and made Jesse a slave. They have a part to play, whatever it may be. I just don't understand why they would go after Walt's family. Even with a good reason, I don't know how they could get to them. The White's have to be in some kind of protective custody, right? Maybe even in the witness protection program, especially after Walt's "threats." Walt still has cancer. And he must still have a death sentence, since he isn't getting treatment. There's no way, right? I know Saul's guy is good, but he can't be that good. One reason I also think he gave Holly up, as he can't be a meaningful father to her. I'm so pumped for the final episodes of this show...
I hated that part w Skylar pulling a knife on Walt and Walter Jr calling the cops on Walt. I think he gave up Holly bc he knows he's about to get in to some **** and doesn't want her to be hurt. Obviously when she was crying for Skylar he saw that she's probably better off w her now.
He is trapped in something he desperately wanted to get out of. There is a war coming, Walt vs the Nazi, for his money and for his family. People are going to die. Jesse fate is an interesting one. No one out there wanting to save him. He is trapped. His only hope is Walt someone changes his mind once he takes those guys down.
Lets talk about flynns bad day. Wakes up around 8 am and misses breakfast as his mom tells him he has to get a job. 8:30 Flynn starts he's new job and hates it. Wants to leave but his mom says no. 1pm comes and he meets Saul Goodman, highlight of his day. His aunt, who he hasn't seen in weeks comes in and she has no time for him. At 3:30 pm he finds out his day is a drug dealer and is going to prison. 6 pm comes and he gets told they are moving, and then he finds out his uncle is dead. His mother then pulls a knife on his dad and then his sister gets kidnapped. And he still has yet to eat. Boy what a ****ty day!
If he wanted to get out he'd of just gone w Saul's guy. He made the choice to come back and **** with Walt and Saul and now he's in deep ****.
I am talking about making meth business. He wanted to get out and now is back in. Good catch on the knife mistake.
Also with Walt Jr, he may be in denial but hes not stupid, he obviously realized his dad was the threat at this point. He realized who the Danger is, and who is the one who knocks.
I can see him escaping that lab. Maybe making that chemical reaction Walt made when they were trapped in the RV w Emilio and Crazy 8.
His dad didn't pull a knife though. Walt Jr just can't process all of that at once and then his mom taking it to another level just threw him off completely.
that would be cool! I hope so, But he knows they have Brock, or atleast thinks they do. He has no idea where they are, and if they will get hurt if anything happened to them.
I know, he realized his mom did to protect them. She told Walt to get out. Once he realized that Hank was dead, he pretty much concluded, imo, that Walt killed him. Its not that far fetch. He didn't want to believe his dad was this monster, but his instincts kicked in and did whats right. How do we know what he can process and what he can't? Vince Gilligan knows more then anyone.
I do wonder if we seen the last time Jesse and Walt act together in the same scene, or go face to face
Well he was in denial a few minutes before and never really got an answer out of Walt before Skylar pulled the knife.
Its instinct, he protected who he institutionally felt need it. It could have been the moment where denial ended for him
One of the best thing this series are the "Next time on Breaking Bad" because I always have to watch it even though I hate myself for it, but they give you nothing! I love it!
Interesting... We all know that the man lying face down on the ground get revenge... As for Jesse and Walt, they must have another scene together in the final. No way their done. What did the next episode scene show? Didn't see it live.
Walt's pants from episode 1 lol. Love it. Bullet to the brain. Foreshadowing? Still think it would be more interesting if all of Walt's loved ones died and he lives. Lives in the world he created. Would be more poetic, but at this point, it's anyone's guess. Uncle Jack's hotel painting from their meeting to kill Mike's guys in prison.
Show won't have proper resolution for me unless Marie gets punched in the face or smothered by an 18 wheeler.
