Interesting, but no real expectations. Big, strong guy though. Should be fun to watch in the preseason if he makes it that far.
Looks like a beast! Judo Champion?! If he can choke Brady out or put him in an arm bar that he can't tap out of One play a year I would sign him up.
Yeah- all we can hope for is that a few of these unsigned guys come into camp and "shock the world" with an incredible work ethic like Cam Wake did so many years ago. I personally like to see fringe players get chances to prove their worth because a guy with everything to lose is going to make you fire him despite working his butt off. I do believe that there are tons of Cam Wake's out there in the world fighting like mad to get that one chance...really hoping we land one or two of them! It's exciting to watch and root for these kinds of players!
I think what makes his story a bit different is that he isnt some guy who washed out. This is his first legitimate chance to prove he is capable of playing in the NFL, where as most guys get a maximum 4 years to prove it in college with scouts watching. I agree the odds aren't high he becomes an impact player but hes definitely an interesting athlete.
He does seem to have everything I love in a RG. Do it. I'm going to be watching. Hope he can be something.
His favorite football player is J.J. Watt. I know he has the build for an interior offensive lineman but maybe he would be better served pursuing his passion on the DL.
I just like that this coaching staff is going all in on finding the perfect pass rush. Though we will see when they get on the field. NFL offensive tackles are built like brick walls. You can have all the measurables like a Brock lesnar, but you didnt see him make the team for the Vikes
