Hi guys, as promised we have been working pretty hard on getting things together at Universaldraft.com over the past few weeks. This is the first in what we hope will be a regular occurrence for us; using video to illustrate exactly what we see in a player or players. Thanks again, and have fun. http://www.universaldraft.com/?p=747
So much to digest with these two. Appreciate all the work that must've gone into this. I'll put a link to this on my blog. Are you allowed to divulge any future players that might have pages like this? Definitely interested in more!
Thanks. Not off the top of my head, as we haven't decided yet. When we get stuff going we'll put it up here and I'll PM you. Chris is probably going blind cutting up the video, and Boomer has left us for the Pub - smart bugger. We will soon, just getting stuff together and it seems jumbled still, but there is some semblance of order somewhere. I have to re order the rankings as we speak and get my Mock Draft up.
I'm only looking at this on my phone, but did you post the videos? And Con, will you post this in the club as well pls. Cheers bud.
I embedded one of the four original YouTube videos underneath each reference you made to one of them. Since you already did the work of pointing out the exact time index, I figure it's not a terrible amount of work for the user to just hit play and then mouse over the timeline to find the right time index. I couldn't embed the specific play you were talking about for each reference unless I went ahead and made something like 48 separate YouTube videos...just not feasible.
Just visiting it, it's not a problem at all. The reference times are very helpful. It might take me a while to get through the whole thread, but I'm going to enjoy every second of it! Thanks again guys!
Had to update the theme etc. and iron out the menu issue. Turns out it was me being a bit a bit silly and not crossing all my T's etc. Thanks to Muck, he pointed me in the right direction.Which turned out to be under my nose. Then I could get to the pic. Yup, will do.
Thanks dudes. What's the next step then? BTW, my home computer won't let me log on here as it crashes almost immediately, so 99% of my Xmas posts have been on my Blackberry. The game reviews I post if I can before the site crashes on me. Would be good to have a catch up.
Excellent work guys. After watching those videos, Rolando Mcclain is the player I want Miami to draft.
We all do need to have a little discussion about who's next etc. don't we. I'll email you, or PM one of the two. You can always email me the stuff and I can post it for you. Doesn't matter.
Yeah I do think we need to sort of divide up the workload. I'll continue to work on the videos and make that sort of my 'thing' but I would appreciate input from you guys on the structure of the videos, and how to incorporate them. In the mean time we need to divide up the individual prospect pages and also come up with some conventions so that no matter who did them, they look cohesive with other reviews by other people. What I think I'll do is send out an email survey with specific questions. I'll start out by answering them myself but I'll need both of you to answer them too, very specifically otherwise nothing gets done.
Mark me down as undecided. Cool, right now I'm doing OLB's, at least the top 10....that way we have something for each position rather than getting bogged down on one position without having much else outside of those. That may be an idea.
I'm going to keep working through these games I have left - perhaps we should do that and then in a weeks time, try and meet up in a chat room or something and go from there?
A week would be nice. The kids have been off for Christmas, so when they go back in two days time, things will be easier.
Yeah. I've had 2 weeks off and hav ebeen spending the daylight hours with the young ones, then burning the early morning oil watching games. I have square eyes from all the college football.
The take a few days and then get back to it. A mental health day is never bad thing. Sometimes involves the other half, but if she ain't mental, then neither are you.
