It is, but I think we upgraded our secondary quite a bit and I'm encouraged by the play of the rookies (Smith & Davis).
Brady so wheres the black make up to look cool..he puts it on ever so perfectly..lol.. damn good qb though
Well, we saw it as an issue and drafted to solve it. By the time we get to the Patriots, our rooks will have some games under their belt and hopefully improved enough to make a difference. Sean Smith, imo, was drafted specifically in response to Moss.. it remains to be seen if he is up to the task.
Hell, Moss doesn't scare me. When you play against Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Joey Galloway, Lee Evans, Terrell Owens and Jerricho Cotchery twice a year you can't afford to be afraid.
Considering last night against 3rd and 4th stringers Allen and Smith both got burned numerous times. I seriously doubt we can contain Moss. Tell me one DB that has shut down Moss in his career in Minny and New England.
I never said "shut down", but if you have a physical corner who can bump him a little, you may be able to contain him a bit better. Both Davis and Smith are athletically gifted, I think they could hang much better with Moss than some of our past CB's.
Well, if our goal is to make the playoffs, Brady's return, which is what this is really about, means very little in the grand scheme of things. Our concern is finding 10 or 11 wins, if the Paties take two from us it will only matter if we also start the season as slowly this year as we did last season. The key to our success this season is found more in our out of division record than our in divisional record. But still, we have 3 big time pass rushing OLB/DE's now, we will for sure give Brady a long day of it.
every game the patriots are in this year is going to be a scoring fest because hardly anyone can stop them and they can hardly stop anyone. That kind of thing normally catches up with you around the 1st or 2nd round of playoffs if you even make it there. So for all those picking NE to win the SB, you are in for a surprise.
