Undrafted wide receiver Adarius Bowman erupted for 112 yards and a touchdown on six catches in his debut for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. His 73-yard TD clinched Saskatchewan's win over the Edmonton Eskimos. If Bowman keeps this up, it'll only be a matter of time before he's getting calls from NFL teams. He was a first-day prospect coming out before appearing to self destruct with awful workouts and an arrest for marijuana possession. Rotoworld.com REALLY wanted this guy on draft day. Hope we go after him if he keeps it up.
Bowman has first day potential no doubt about that. If he can keep his nose clean (heck, we're trying to make Ricky's clean), he could be one heck of a WR. He's just the kind of guy who doesn't fare well in practice and workouts but brings it game-day. He just torched Aqib Talib for 300 yards at Oklahoma State.
I saw parts of that Sask/Edmonton game. Bowman looked good for sure. Sask has alot of talented receivers there too maybe thats helped him a bit. If he keeps it up, wouldnt be surprised if he starts getting some calls from NFL teams
