    Midnight on draft day. :)

These guys tend to gear toward immediate contributors period, everywhere in the draft.

Easley could definitely be an immediate contributor though, just depends on where you count on him being one. He was a special teams player in college, he can probably play there in the pros...especially because of his size/speed combo. Just yesterday I was watching him block flyers on punt return team against the Ohio Bobcats. In a way, he might be perfect for Miami if you believe they'll pull in an Antonio Bryant or someone like that, then pair him with Brian Hartline, and have Bess and Camarillo working the slots and special situations. Marcus Easley could get to the game as a special teams contributor, and from there if you're in the game and you've been training on as a WR with the team, at SOME point some situation is going to come up and your name will get called, and you'll have a chance to show your stuff.

Pat Turner can't play STs and so he can't get to the game. Even if we had a slew of in-game WR injuries, or needed to go 4-WR to play some catchup, Turner can't get game action because he can't get to the game.

Jaiqwuan Jarrett isn't too bad of a safety prospect. Alex Joseph is a UDFA prospect. They've got another nose on that team, I think his name is Neblett? Something like that. He's another late round guy.

I'm feeling pretty good about my Temple +3.5 pick. Trust a team over a collection of players.

Does anyone have any insights on tomorrow night's bowl games? I de-selected my Miami pick tonight, I'm not feeling good about it all of a sudden. I feel like there should be a relatively easy pick to be made tomorrow in one or both of the games, but I don't have a firm grasp of the teams

    Well away from here
I might have to go against Nebraska against Arizona. It's not that Zona will handle the huskers D, just that Nebraska's offense may have a tough time against Mike Stoops' defense. They are a little undersized, but they move around well and should pose a problem for Nebraska's somewhat limited (athletically) O-line. Nebraska's right tackle is not especially quick.

Yeh second half was crazy. The Bruins got a safety off a punt going out of the end zone right after the UCLA DE intercepts a slant route at the 5 for a TD.

It has to do more with discipline than speed IMO. They've got speed, they're just young and undisciplined. Vaughn Telemaque has a lot to learn. He's quality in the box but he's struggled in coverage. I dislike Randy Phillips a great amount, to be honest, and DvD has been inconsistent since coming to the U. Brandon Harris is our best DB by a mile IMO.

what they need to do is fire Shannon. No decent head coach should take more than a couple years to turn that program around. Too many quality players there for that OL to be as bad as it is.

Shannon's alright. He's done well turning this program around. We've got a lot of young guys. As for the OL, it's not too bad. Tonight, it was. We had to shuffle the whole damn line tonight though because of Jason Fox's injury. Orlando Franklin played both LT and RT.

I think he needs to work on a few things but I already view him more as a motivator than a "coach".

Didn't he have something to do with the development of Zach Thomas?
