I'm hoping we look at Dez Bryant, CJ Spiller, Jermaine Gresham, Dan Williams, Terrence Cody, Brandon Spikes, Derrick Morgan, Brandon Graham, or Rolando McClain in Round 1; Round 2 we look at Mike Iupati, AJ Edds, Jerry Hughes, Arrelious Benn, Ricky Sapp, Morgan Burnett, or Daryl Washington. Guys in later rounds I hope we look at include George Selvie, Micah Johnson, Cam Thomas, D'Anthony Smith, Brandon Lang, Charles Scott, Dennis Pitta, Ed Dickson, Jacoby Ford, Sergio Render, Nate Allen, Phil Taylor, Pat Angerer, and Torrel Troup.

Damian Williams intrigues me as well... Taylor Mays.. eh? Earl Thomas.... Maybe

Our weakest links are WR, TE, FS, OLB, ILB,NT. I could see us taking a chance on a Shawn Merriman or Casey Hampton via free agency to fill one of these voids; possibly both. Antonio Bryant is a good signing if we make it.

When it comes to our free agents that signing Ronnie Brown should be priority #1; If Fasano takes #2 Tight End money than keep him around. Could Will Allen or possibly Sean Smith move to Free Safety? We need to rid of the cancer that is Gibril Wilson.

    Hmm...

What are your thoughts on George Selvie?

And how injured is Greg Hardy?

I think Selvie made a terrible decision by not enter after his Junior season. He cost himself some serious money. I like his ability to rush the passer; I think his ability against the run is overrated.

Hardy's been injured off and on all season. he is talented but a lot of baggage comes with that talent.

Earl Thomas can play IMO. He's very good.

Selvie needs A LOT of work IMO. One trick pony that has never seen a run play he likes.

He's carrying around different kind of baggage than others IMO. No legal issues and despite the questions around his work ethic, he goes hard and produces.

Tried watching the Maaco bowl to see Jorgensen and Pita and it was just unwatchable.

There was a 20 mph or more gale blowing during the game, I actually saw a punt go up in the air, and get blown backwards for a 4 yd punt.

You missed Robert Johnson the Utah FS... the guy had a good game and let me be the first to get on the Robert Johnson bandwagon.

I'm with you on that. He was great yesterday and if I remember right he had a good game vs Alabama last year. He has a definite nose for the ball.

Yeah, he has 13 INTs over the past three seasons improving each year on the number he put up before.

Nice story about him growing up:

“The most difficult part was just…seeing my mom kinda go through the hard times,” Johnson said. “We moved around a lot, and that was hard…but she always just told us that everything would be OK.”

even when he was not intercepting the ball himself he makes plays. He deflected a couple of passes yesterday, one of which was picked by a teammate. I've seen him do that a few times this year as well in past years. he's not the fastest but I think his speed is good enough. His instincts are excellent, he positions himself well. His only downside I have seen is he isn't a real intimidating player if you're looking for him to be that

I don't know... he layed a couple good hits on Cal receivers yesterday. Anyhow, I want a FS that can help the CB cover the deep part of the field. I have grown tired of Wilsons act. Also, we need a guy in the secondary that can create turnovers and he appears to be good at that.

Wilson has been bad but Bell has been worse. Also Wilson is being asked to be a cover safety and he is not that. Every year prior to this year hes been a guy who does create a lot of turnovers but those years he was used close to the line (within 8-12 yards) as an in the box safety who helps cover flats and TE's. This year we're asking him to cover over the top much of the time and if you want him to be that guy these are the results you can expect. I could have told you this would happen before the year from the years I watched him extensively with the Giants. He is a physical player who likes to hit people but you put him in downfield coverage and he becomes the liability you see this year. Sorry for the rant, it just annoys me because hes being used all wrong. I put that one on the coaches and front office.
