I think we are OK at RB right now but I would not mind see us take Blount in the 4th area. I have always liked him as a player and I can forgive him for losing his head after the Boise St game. As far as character issues go that is the only problem that I know of (are there other issues?).

BTW, I have been a fan of Washington for some time as well. I was hoping he would be available later in the draft but I think that ship has sailed.

Not to my knowledge, when he went psycho after that Boise St game is the only issue I know of.

Even before the Boise State game there were rumblings about his character and how the coaching staff was pulling their hair out trying to deal with him.

Blount seems to me to be the exact type of back this regime likes. So many people seem to think they would go for a smaller change up type back to compliment the bigger backs, but I honestly think they don't care much about that (see Lorenzo Booker). I think they want to pound you the entire game with a physical back and that is exactly what Blount brings. If they feel his character won't be an issue, I really think he's a legit option in the draft for them.

If he's there in the 4th, I wouldn't be sad if we selected him.

You might want to read his wiki page
He had academic problems coming out of High School. Bad enough to not be able to play for Auburn for Petes sake.
He had repeated run-ins with coaching staff in Oregon prior to the Boise incident, bad enough to warrent a suspension.
I am sure he is working on his character issues, he is realizing it is has already cost him millions.
If the Linebacker out of TCU is still there, we look right past Blount and never look back

Re: Vladimir Duccasse - He was just handed a first round grade by several Scouts.

As noted, character issues and late to a lot of team meetings.
