Not in todays NFL. With all the empty back field we play you are 1 or 2 injuries away from the Marlon Moore's of the world having to play important snaps on offense. He will not be on this roster in 6 months if Jeff Ireland does what he is supposed to do.

Many of the pro Ireland crowd would have us believe that Parcells ran the 2010 draft. So, we are to look at the good picks in 2008-2010 as a plus for Ireland, but the bad picks, well he had no control over them because Parcells was still in charge?

His angle on the 62 yard scamper was god awful. Granted if you put most safeties up against Spiller in that situation they are gonna fail, but Chris has been bad a lot more then good all season long in tracking players down. The difference between he and Jones in making OFTs is very wide imo.

In a linemen heavy draft, one must also account for the power lifting regime they installed. Consequently, this drastically reduced the shelf life of O-lineman ligaments. Add Sporano's constant tinkering and I couldn't blame Ireland for that draft. What's his name from Clemson was also a project hybrid gamble. Nobody can fault the 2008 draft as a failure, especially when we got Fasano from the Cowboys for a fourth(?).
