I actually don't hold Henne against Ireland, Qb's bust, it happens.

Liked the move and thought Henne would develop and he just never quite did develop.

It's stuff like drafting guys with premium picks and they just become so so players, like Koa Misi, he's a good player, but so far not a great player and he really hasn't shown the potential to be great.

You'd think by now someone they drafted would actually exceed expectations, so far only Reshad Jones has done so in what 5 drafts?

....and what was Parcells responsible for? Wasn't he the guy first hired? Do you ever recall from 2008 how it was Jeff Ireland hired to turn the Miami Dolphins around, b/c I sure don't? It was always Parcells, right from the get go. It was Parcells' hirings, Parcells' vision, Parcells' blueprint, and Parcells who ran the draft. If you want to declare Ireland guilty by association if it makes you feel better then go right ahead, but you don't have a shred of proof to support it. The fact is Ireland was highly respected and regarded before Parcells took over a terrible 2007 Dolphins team and turned it into mediocrity, and Ireland was respected on his own merit separate from anything to do with Parcells. He is not Parcells 2.0, nor has ever been; however that didn't stop Parcells from trying to make him one. It's obvious Ireland is NOT another Parcells, and it's obvious we are NOT repeating the past, and that's what should matter most, but for some reason you seem to be caught up in it as if nothing about the organization has changed, when in fact we've gone on in an entirely different direction. Different coaches, different vision, different philosophy, different blueprint for players, different offensive & defensive schemes. We've addressed the salary cap issues we've had in the past, improved the locker room presence, and accrued extra draft picks to put us in playoff contention exactly 1 year after a new coaching staff was hired, in turn wisely allowing them sufficient time to assess their new roster before going all out gangsta style trying to tweak it. Not to mention we could've easily been a 9-10 win team last year.

We know Parcells as a control freak who was given everything he wanted to turn the team around, including the ability to quit the job and still get his contract paid.
Ireland may or may not get the job done but there is no doubt while Parcells was with the Dolphins he did whatever he wanted, to say otherwise is foolish

This is even better than someone refuting what he wrote point by point.
