Thanks for the warm greeting!!Everyone is talking bout the penny-brett twist for this game...but i think the key to this game is williams-brown...i have saw no improvement by the jets in preseason in their stopping the run..both qb's will move their teams but the fins running game will be key..
Hey! good to see you. I just listened to today's set of after practice pressers and Vernon Cary (our now right tackle) was one of them. He made the comment that we didn't have any trouble running against the Jets, we just didn't finish the games. He also said we needed to catch the ball downfield, which we didn't do much of last year. We'll see.. we had the most sacks of all teams in the preseason with 14, the jets had 13.. our line HAS to protect. We can't have Chadly getting smacked around. I'll tell ya.. with the off season programs, and the rough practices our team is in GOOD shape. If we can pound the ball, we can have their big eaters cramping up by the fourth. One of the keys I think is that we seem to be able to get Ricky and Ronnie to the line of scrimage untouched this year. What that means (besides big numbers) is the db's will be taking a beating all game.. and it doesn't take much of a ding to make Ginn VERY scary... thanks for the kind words guys..
