A sprained MCL if I remember right hurts like a mofo but heals very well. Great news. He needs to get out to Costco and pick up one of those giant 1000 pill Tylenol bottles.
LOL.....I don't think Costco has anything on some of the pain killing concoctions that NFL Trainers have access too. He prolly just gets the trainer to hand him the elephant tranq and shoots himself in the neck while he's watching Sprout with the young ones.
Man that's a relief! He had settled into a pretty good game before getting his legs taken out from him yesterday. Really glad he won't need surgery.
He was the key to the game once either Daboll or Moore figured out Wilson couldnt cover him. I sprained my MCL once and it hurt like crazy. I had a hard time locking my leg out and I limped around for about 3 weeks, I think. I dont know the severity of Bess' sprain but he should be good for next season.
The news that it is not something far more serious is very, very good. And tylenol won't cut it... his liver would probably be gone it he took enough! Had one about 37 years ago... Right on both counts.. and once you are healed, you'd never know it was hurt until later in life. I played catcher and Nose Tackle, and sometimes RT for a left handed quarterback. The menisci in both knees are shot to #&!! and gone, but I escaped any major ligament tears.
Thats awesome to hear. Bess is a good player and is a "good" guy, I would hate for him to get hurt in 4th Q of the last game of the season.
