Anyone picked up this game yet? I think the graphics are pretty great and multiplayer is really what this game is good for. The single player campaign gets a bit tedious because youre basically just doing the same thing.....run.....get to point....kill guys.....run....get to point.....etc. with the random finding of a new gun or gold bar. I was just a bit surprised I didn't find a thread here about it yet. The multiplayer makes Halo look like a kids game.
yea my brother and a few friends are starting to get into it. I tried the demo and couldnt really get myself to have fun with it. Maybe I didnt give it enough of a shot but I know there are games soon to be out that I have my eye on(left4 dead Madden 09 Gears of War 2 just to name a few) so I will save my cash on this one even though I havent really heard a bad thing about it.
i have a game rental account with blockbuster....usually i play the new releases with that to find out if a game is worth buying or not....its only $20 a month for unlimited rentals....you can change it out 20 times a day if you want. it's great.
I thought it was all right. Nothing really stood out for me though. Glad it's only a rental. I've been wary of the Battlefield franchise because 2 and 2142 were just buggy as hell and the console ports weren't that special.
Yea, it pretty much went downhill after that. 2 had promise but just typical EA creaking back in. 2142 was all the bad things of 2 amplified with little change in the good things.
If you guys like the Battlefield series and want a true successor to BF on consoles, I definitely recommend Frontlines: Fuel of War. The game has 50 player multiplayer with dedicated servers so there is no lag. There are free maps being released and a new game mode too. The game mode included though is pretty much identical to conquest (BF on PC).
