Yeah, I edited the post already. I'm at work, I can't devote full attention to the people trying to kill me!
I did alright vs Des the second round, not sure what the record was, but he definitely took my lunch the first game. As for "coordinating" That's too strong of a word. At most I play with 1 more person who I am on call via Skype during games where we make dick jokes and make fun of people's names. We definitely don't take it seriously. I am definitely down to play with you guys though, so if you ever see me online or in the game feel free to message me and we can kick some *** together.
Also, played as a "true" Recon last night for the first time. Was interesting. Only used sniper rifles. Got few nice headshot...but it's just not me. Im more of a lead the charge, take the flag (and first one to take the bullet) type of player. I try to flank, but I also run our and sacrifice myself if it means that I can potentially delay a flag of ours from being taken. I am more objective oriented, unless the game is just flat out out of reach.
I'm really not a fan of sniping, but I'm less a fan of having unlocked items mocking me in the weapon list. So I'm trying to get the SRR-61.
It's like Levelcap reads this thread.
Nah, you don't. It took me over 3 hours to get 20 kills with jets (feel dirty typing that word at this forum) at a air superiority server for the Phantom Prospect Assignment. I don't fly choopers, maybe a Little Bird now and again, but only if it's only means of transportation. Now granted, I have seen jets go 25-35 and 0 and dominate a game, but that doesn't happen as often. I recall Little Birds taking over games, but in those times you get your squad to arm up with Stingers and it goes down even with repair men.
The 20 jet kills may have been the worst thing I've ever had to do, sniping included. I did start to get a feel for flying by the end, though.
Pro Tip for jets that I heard of in a youtube video is to bind the 'up' direction of the jet to space bar, that way you don't have to keep lifting and cranking your mouse. I am going to give that a try and just jump in the jet if it is available on the conquest maps I'm playing here and there.
Yeah, that does help a lot. You have to unbind space from fire first, otherwise you'll fly up and shoot your guns at the same time. My moment of clarity came when I realized that W and S control jet speed, and that S + space (slow down + move nose up) results in super tight turns as long as you don't stall out. Once I learned how to control speed, jets became easier to handle.
Went 47-12 on Hainan Resort last night, earned THREE medals and a silver star...without running any boosts. Man oh man I was kicking myself for that one.
Most I've earned in one game was just a scratch under 170k, during the double XP stacking with 200%. I cant imagine the XP running all the extras, jesus.

We should try to get in a squad and play a game. Tone and I played few nights ago, did alright. Either him or I were constantly top of the team. Was fun.
I'm a tough person to play with. I have an odd schedule and I don't like playing for stretches. I usually play one or two rounds, quit for a couple of hours, then come back.
Well when you put it that way... I'm being serious though, I get temperamental with games. I used to be able to play them for hours, now one or two rounds and I've had my fill--until later, when I want to play again. I can't explain it.
I'm kind of the same with BF unless I'm playing with friends. I will do 2-3 rounds max. Then get tired of it, or Flood Zone or Dragon Pass comes up and I'm out of there faster than BF4 can crash on me. Then I'll go back to it an hour later for another round or three.
I won't have you blaspheming against Flood Zone. That and Paracel Storm are the two best vanilla maps.

Deagle? Yes please. Would be nice to have a gold plate skin, or is that over the top? MAARS and Riot Shields - don't know if I ever want to enter Metro again. I wonder how much damage the thing will take before exploding. Would be cool to see something like this in Metro though, you know, if the US team actually coordinated on that map; If only people smoked while rushing the elevator and escalators, maybe the US can capture B, and maybe even hold it on occasion.
Just hit rank 120 on the cheesiest server I think I've ever played on. Feels like the game tried to beat me and I beat it instead. When's BF5 coming out?
I don't want to start a new thread for this. Leaks have been found in Battlelog scripts pertianing to the new BF:Police game. It looks as if it will be called BF:Hardline. Two teams: Swat and Thieves New Game Modes: Blood Money / Heist Classes: Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator, Professional Screenshot: Spoiler Likely playable for E3. Main link that has sublinks to reddit threads: http://getbblog.com/en/board/topic/...eady-in-the-work-or-a-big-update-in-Battlelog\ EDIT: Even more images of guns, attachments, vehicles, etc here: http://www.koenv.com/blog/2014/5/battlefield-hardline
Hardline beta video gameplay leaked. Watch before it gets taken down like most other variants of the vid. http://attackofthefanboy.com/news/battlefield-hardline-beta-gameplay-fans-rage/
Yay. That means I can hit 120 and leave the game for a week or so before returning lol I was so sure that I will hit 120 and next day DT is coming out lol
Messed around on it for few hours. Meh. It's cool, but I definitely won't be buying it when it comes out.
I got in the beta too. Haven't downloaded it yet though. Thinking the same thing. Maybe when it is on sale.
