How many beers would it take a 5'11, 150lb 21 year old to be over the legal limit of .08 in a 3 hour time span?
I should have asked what kind of beer we're dealing with also. Natty Ice or anything Imported probably closer to 3.
it depends on the beer (light beer, imports etc) for example: for a 4% beer 5 12oz cans would put you at .075 (under limit) for a 4.5% beer 5 cans would put you at .09 (over limit) for a 5% beer 4 cans would put you at .075 (under limit)
usually its Natty or Busch or Bud Light. You know the cheap stuff that college kids can afford . I don't really drink and drive at all, im just asking as a guideline because i was curious. Thanks
A good rule of thumb is one drink per hour for an average person. You'll be good, but not by a whole lot. One glass of wine (wine glass, not 24oz mug!!), one shot of hard liquor, ~80 proof, 1 12 oz beer. For less or more alcohol content adjust accordingly.
