I don't know what's Atogwe's reasoning behind the visit to Seattle but it would not surprise me if Seattle's interest in him was legitimate. He would fit in really well in Carroll's 4-3 Under scheme that he's bringing over from USC. They ask their safeties to spend a lot of time as the single high safety and he could do that for them pretty well. Though, they do have Earl Thomas as well so it would be very interesting. They could even slide over Thomas to cornerback against a 3x1 set, bunch set, etc.

Really makes you wonder if the "Earl Thomas is the best CORNER in the draft" werent a little more serious than we thought.....

Sounds like Atogwe is wanting a big deal at $7 million a season. We were already burnt by Gibril Wilson's big deal. I would just as soon stick with the guys we have, and if they cannot cut it we can probably find someone as teams cut down to the 53 man roster who can play the position for less money. You don't always get what you pay for in the NFL with d-backs.
