So as I was again thinking about the state of this franchise last night, I had a question. Has our scouting staff changed, let's say since the Philbin ERA? I ask because coaching has changed, personnel has changed and Front Office has changed. But we seem to have major issues in the trenches. 4 seasons of a porous run defense. Poor OL play. Does anyone know if during the past several firings, if the scouting dept was fired? Grier was a scout right? Now he is GM? Am I getting closer to the issue here?
