It's weird that the defense is still getting a good amount of pressure with these two covering the left side.

Castonzo was set to start at RT but then Gabe Carimi took injury. Carimi was going to be the LG. Solder's the one that doesn't have the position flexibility and so he's been LT all the way.

He has not played LG before.

McElroy looks to be exactly what one would expect, checkdown/accuracy/touch and timing.

They did have Solder do work in practices and scrimmages at RT. He was used at G in some one on one drills too. Didn't look so good there though.

Out of curiousity, which kicker has the best leg in the draft this yr? Not accuracy wise but in kick off distance?

Doesn't surprise me he didn't look so hot when moved around.

That's not a bad throw by McElroy, I think he knew he had a free play, and went for everything.

I think we can safely say you can see the effect of the Spread in the running backs on the field, they are all munchkins..

Well not quite all, McElroy with the huge underthrow.

Bad instincts by Devine on that run there, should have stuck with the lane up the middle.

I don't know, I've never really been impressed by Devine. And his real size scares me even more now that I'm certain how big he is(n't).

I still kind of like him, but there are several guys who have skillsets to match his.

Apples to Oranges if it came down to Devine v Lewis from Pitt, I'd take Lewis.

If Colin McCarthy ever 'gets it' he's going to be a really good linebacker. So aggressive.

Physically, to me he looks like a beefed up Jason Allen. And I don't mean that as a bad thing.

    I love Niles Paul.

He looks like Tedd Ginn on kick returns. Long strider with not much gear up or gear down.

Not a great job by Castonzo there on that sack but I agree with Mayock, Stanzi didn't help.

And wow there's Bad Stanzi showing up again.
