http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_UFL_team_rosters Their season ends this upcoming weekend, anyone look interesting as a temp player for the Dolphins? To me: Rob Pettiti a Tackle with lots of NFL experience Tatum Bell or Michael Pittman Odell Thurman was probably the best UFL player this season, but he plays ILB and we are healthy at ILB. Interestingly enough, ex Dolphins TC invitee Louis Ellis is on IR for the NY Sentinnels.
You might consider Taye Biddle. He caught 26 balls for 460 yards and 2 TDs in 6 games. He's 6'1" and 185 lbs. He's bounced around the league the last three years out of Ole Miss, from Carolina to Tampa to Detroit. Yeah, we're THAT desperate at WR.
We may be healthy, but we arent that good.... We could use a playmaker in the worst way, and we could use someone that could cover a TE.... I really think that if we add a Rolondo McClain in the draft the ILB can become a strength
Well, here are the names Rotoworld was calling out as possibles: To me, the UFL should start earlier next season, finishing up with 6 games left is not exactly a good way to offer a path to the NFL. And on ESPN radio there were apparently some GM's that wanted to work some of those players out but they were under contract to the UFL, which sounds like B$ to me as without at least some current film on the experienced players, there is nothing to judge them by to even call them in for a cattle call.
