Anyone else have a HEART ATTACK when Clay threw the ball down by the goaline???

There was a pass to Miller that was deflected like that, but not the one we're talking about.

 

Gotcha. The one I was tripping on was a clear path to the end zone if Miller catches it.

 

In the long run it was better that he didn't score. Caused ATL to call a TO. Had he scored ATL would
Of had 3 timeouts with about 45 seconds. Not the easiest thing but opens up the middle of the field with 3 TO to work with.

 

I think both passes if caught would have been a TD. One was off line though, the one to the left side, and maybe partially deflected. The one to the right on the final drive was a drop. That pass though had a low arc and Miller's view of the oncoming pass may have been partly obstructed by the defender.

 

I immediately screamed "Pick up the ball!". My Sundays are way more stressful than they should be between the Dolphins and Breaking Bad.

 

I DVR`d the game and watched that play in slow motion...it looked to me that he was short of the marker so I`m glad it didnt become an issue. Great awareness on the second attempt .

 

Yes I did - I just froze when I first saw it, certain that he just inadvertently fumbled away the game. Then, saw the replay and exhaled.

 

That play scared the hell out of me. Even when thay showed the replay I cringed . If it got knocked out I would have knocked HIM out.
