i was up at 6 am and couldn't go back to sleep.
Hooray time change.....
sleepyhead.. I was up at 4am watching football on espn..
Good morning Shelby, it is good to see you around this am.
My family just loves to wake me up on Saturday and Sunday mornings real early. It's what the were born to do.
Slept in til 0830. No time change here cause we don't mess with time.
I shouldn't be up right now...
woke up around my usual time.
we shouldn't either.
yea, it's a pissah in the summer when I'm ready to go to bed and the dang sun is still up.
My internal alarm goes off at 4:00 every morning...
Funny how much like Arizona, my internal clock doesnt observe Daylights Saving Time
Sundays I usually wake up at like 11:00 my time (central) and get ready for the game... Today I didn't set an alarm because I knew I'd be up before the game being it's at 3:00 CT... and what happens? I get up at 8:30!
I got up at 630 and went to Dunkin Donuts. Only one of the road, no line, warm coffee. Today rocked...
I am an early riser anyway, but today the internal clock was all effed up and had me up at 5:30. So, I used the extra time to make sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. Need a good starchy breakfast to soak up the beer I will be consuming today as the 'Phins beat the Donkeys.
My dog got me up for his nature call, he didn't turn his internal clock back.
Great sig pic...i love Eddie!
clocks changed last weekend here - still overslept for work twice last week!
GB observes Daylight Savings Time? I thought we were the only ones silly enough that think we can dictate/manipulate time....
mankind invented time. why should we not be able to dictate or manipulate it?
Oh, I disagree.
I think we invented tools to better understand and track time, even a language to help us observe it, but somebody or something else invented time.
Yeah I agree. I mean I understand what you're saying. That's kinda what I was getting at...
I have this terrible habit of going to bed at 1 A.M. and getting up at 4-4:30 every morning. Just a habit I developed in the Army and haven't been able to get rid of yet!
p.s. I've been retired for 15 years now, so it's been a long term illness!
I am in the same boat as Marty and Kenny -- up at 4:00 AM.
6? pfffttt! You lightweight. I was up at 3am.
I too woke up around 4am, but I put on the Ospreys vs Leinster rugby match from the Heineken Cup. from my DVR.....taped it off of Setanta Sports Channel the other day.
I came up 4am drunk as ****.. Went to bed and someone woke me up at 9am trying to sell my hammers on my cell phone.. I had to ACTUALLY fully wake up to make sure I wasn't still drunk, I asked the guy like 10 times WTF he wanted, to which he would reply "hey its me dennis, from the sub shop, Remember you bought thouse hammers, I have more you said you wanted more." After about 10 mins of this I finally told the guy, sure meet me at the sub sho at 3 pm. but then I was awake, Which sucked... I fell back asleep about 10:00 and just woke up 20 mins ago..
btw... Vodka > Rum all they had at the party last night was rum.. Of course that didn't stop me from drinking.
Actually, I see your point and yes you were correct IMO.
We did invent tools that we use to track, and in fact those tools are exactly what we are manipulating.
Since it is your internal clock that goes off, do you still get up at 4? Or 3? Or actually 5?
Guess I have the advantage of living in Arizona where 4am is 4am 365...
I actually woke up at 4 AM. I normally am able to sleep until 5 on weekends but get up at 4 AM during the week. I've never have to set an alarm since I left the Army.
went to bed at 4am, woke up at 9am...stuggling at the moment...must watch football...must get beer...
IF I am to get a workout in, the only time I have is 4am. Unfortunately my internal clock doesnt observe days off.
So, I guess the Army I serve is none other than my two daughters for it is because of them my schedule mandates the 4am thing..
i slept even later this morning lol
Nah we're just as daft! Also, my family live in New Zealand and they change too. Twice a year for about 2 weeks I'm always getting the time differences wrong - nice wake up call for them though!...could of helped me last week - had to work this weekend to make up the hours! (got another kid on the way so no way will I oversleep again at least for another couple of years! )
congratulations on the kid
Thanks anlgp, I was jsut getting used to having sleep again! lol
aaand you threw the ball.. life has an interception on that thought.
