Thinking about getting a Bose Lifestyle 38 Series IV system for the parents this Christmas.. anybody own one or have any insight as to how it is? They've had the same Bose system for 6 years and have been havin problems with it lately (mostly due to my house parties back in the day haha) so I figured they were due...
Don't. Just... don't. Bose's products are horrible. Most people think they're good just because the (boring) commercials told them so. Look into Klipsch.
I have a Bose lifestyle. Not sure which one, its like 5 years old. Cd player went in the silver reciever unit. Kinda annoyed about that. Sound is solid, but you could probably find equal quality for cheaper. Nice looking unit if conscious of aesthetics. Its a generous, recognizable gift.
