West Palm Beach. Looks like we'll be leaving here soon. The street is flooding and if we don't go soon I'll be swimming home.

A lot of rain and some wind, not too much. I dread idiot dodging on the drive home.

 

I think I will be doing that tonight when I go home. People just can't drive in the rain. I think its suppose to start raining here around 2 pm

Yes - he was indeed a monster. Luckily I lived in Davie at the time and Broward didn't get hit half as bad as Dade did. I was without power for 5 days though. Really humbles you.

I was without for 9 days (I forget which storm now) a couple of years ago. What a bear that was. Hotter than hell, mosquitoes everywhere.....

 

No school today due to the hurricane. Hope we're off tomorrow as well lol. Stay safe everyone.

 

I was on call all of last night,and was supposed to start at 12 noon today.
My boss called and said to stay home(and get paid also)

Still waiting for something to happen here in the Tampa area.Don't think we will get much of anything.But you never know around these parts.The direction might change at anytime.

I'm in Ft Lauderdale and I am supposed to be moving to Williamsburg, VA tomorrow. F'in storm is making it difficult lol. originally intended to take the autotrain from Sanford, FL to Lorton, VA but that might not be happening now.
