I need some help, I think I'm going crazy... Every game I've ever been to, after Miami gets a 1st down the announcer says "that's another Miami Dolphins 1st down!" and the crowd says it at the same time, it's alot of fun... I swear I didn't hear it once yesterday. Did anybody else notice or am I just going nuts? I hope it's not part of some of the team changes that are happening. I've always loved that part of our home games and would hate for it to be phased out. If they're going to change something, they should put Flipper back in the endzone.
I missed the game, but Ive always liked that. If they phased it out ALOT of people would be pissed. I remember going to the games last year and people were pissed when the guy did it. Like it was an insult to how horrible we were that we celebrated 1st downs
I was there and I didn't hear it as well. It doesn't do anything for me. I celebrate everytime the dolphins have a nice play, regardless. The whole thing is a little corny for me. Even though at the chargers game I was doing it with plenty of enthusiasm... lol
I was there and it was said a few times over the PA... I did not pay too much attention during the entire game..
They didn't say it every time yesterday, and the times I noticed that they didn't, the team was huddling quickly. I remember hearing it in the first half a few times, but not so much in the second. We did the signal anyway
I'd rather that anyday then the ridiculous viking horn everytime minny gets a first down..... or the panthers growl when carolina gets one...... really its 10 yards....it shouldn't be that big of a deal...
What they need to do is change the song...lol I know its old school, and its a throwback and everything...Am I right, or I just dont appreciate the old dolphins culture?
lol the fight song has to be the most silly thing ever, that and the show they do in the stadium makes one feel like they are more at a disney world show , then a football game.
