Ant-White Racism in the NFL?

I'd like to qualify this thread by saying all of my children as well as my wife are mixed racially. sad state of affairs when you have to justify not being a racist before you express an honest opinion. I'm sure this one will get kicked around a bit, then relocated in another forum. having said that, this is neither rant nor racism. it is simply the part of the story everyone is afraid to talk about...
fact is, any white running back or wide receiver is routinely put through the hoops & enters the NFL with much bias (prejudice) from the media. our own Brian Hartline is an example of reverse discrimination in the NFL & the draft is much more difficult to overcome for whites because of "perceived" inferiority & racism.
Tim Tebow was victimized & persecuted because of his mainstream Christianity & because he was white and the list goes on...

the affirmative action, "I am a victim act" is yesterdays news. it should be well behind us by now... unproductive & unfair to all at this point in time. enough is enough!
I follow football because I like the sport not to be politically correct. I have no illusions, it is a brutal contact sport & its mercenaries are compensated well for their brutality. it is not the ballet or a tennis match. it is a contact sport as bloody as any other contact sport. they've already compromised the game considerably with too many new rules... soon we'll be putting flags on them & dressing the players in shorts.
the cry-baby Jonathan & bully bad boy racist Incognito affair is simplimatic, overblown & extremely hypocritical. Incognito is no racist & everybody knows it. JonJon may not be cut out for the NFL or need a break from the game for personal reasons. maybe they're both crazy in their own way... the game is not meant to be played by the meek or faint of heart.
Do you think there is Anti-White Racism in the NFL? I do. at any rate, my son & I will be at the Miami/Tampa game, any one else going?

You raise a valid point that there is a form of discrimination against white athletes, specifically in the NFL. When white WRs are compared to other white WRs when in reality, their games couldn't be more different. They are called "smart WRs" as a cleaned up way of saying, "They are good for a white guy". Same with the "high motor" label for white defensive players.
That being said, none of this justifies discrimination towards any other race. Calling someone the word Incognito called Martin is a lot different than the type of subconscious and mostly non-deliberate racism I'm referring to.
I think there is stereotyping, not racism per se
White Wr's are "crafty route runners"
Black Qb's "are athletically gifted"
foolishness of course, basically intellectually lazy.

You're right, it happens to black athletes too. Basically any race that doesn't typically play the position. You also have to love it when the draft gurus talk about an athlete as being "so well spoken".
Get the **** out of here.

Honestly...I think the NFL is one of the few organizations in the world where race...has not a damn thing to do with anything...

If there are humans involved, then race is involved. Just natural.
Yeh...makes us proud to be humans dont it? Race has nothing to do with anything...cultural influences...upbringings...those are what matter. I cant wait for the day, when there are no more race cards...anti-black, white, jew, purple, green...whatever.

You won't see that day in your lifetime. The only way that happens is if only one race remains, or in the distant future where human races have blended to a point everyone looks the same. It is a natural phenomena, part of the human nature.
what is the percentage of black players to whites in the NFL?
what is the percentage of black coaches to whites in the NFL?
Is the Rooney Rule reverse racism? should we not be completely fair & make a concerted effort to balance the NFL across the board racially? so many, whatever the position at every position... would make it a better game? think about it.
hypocrisy & racial/political intimidation?
I thought this was a team sport we played to win...
I guess "old blue eyes" is next:

another potential victim of the race card?

Philosophically no. Realistically yes.
I was a white running back in college, think I had a sifferent standard to live up to? In the end it does all come to ability. If you can play and prove it it doesn't matter. But anyone athlete that does not meet the archetypre race wise will have a bit longer of a 'show me' stage.

I like how people throw around terms like "reverse racism"( the reverse of racism would technically be tolerance or anti-racism). Racism is racism, no matter if its white on black or black on white or whatever. Either way its a stupid term.
And when you cite Yahoo Answers, you really have no clue what you are talking about.

It can be argued that without the Rooney rule, good coaches like Tomlin and Dungy would have never gotten a shot. Due to the Good Ol Boy structure of NFL ownership.

obviously, you don't know what O'Reilly has said about the Miami Dolphins & Incognito... typical knee jerk bleeding-heart response. Bill O'Reiilly has been quite the opposite & harmful to Miami. how can you possibly comment on something you're completely misinformed about from beginning to end?
Frumundah Finnatic:
the Rooney Rule is meant to be reverse racism but in fact is discriminatory... please read, then think before you post
mark my words, this team is very close to being destroyed by the media & bleeding hearts tearing at the very fabric of the team

racism against whites in the nfl? lmao!!! well, all the owners are white, so are you saying they dont want their own kind working for them? lol. this is a hilarious thread.
PHINS WOLVERINES ROCKETS
DON'T MESS WITH US!
there is a disproportional amount of Jewish owners in the NFL, is that a problem too? do you think we need a Rooney Rule to solicit & facilitate black owners? where does it end? flag football & NFL socialism?

Tim Tebow was persecuted because he did a anti-abortion ad during the superbowl. Almost all of the white NFL players are Christian, they are not persecuted.

supposedly incognito was considered more "black" than martin in the locker room. cant make this **** up...
I think when this is done the idea that this is a "hate" crime will be dispelled. I view this as an unfortunate failed attempt to help a guy. I think Richie in his own way was trying to do that. He was trying to be a leader. I do hold coaches or the coach who put Richie up to this if that is born out in the facts accountable to some degree.

hubris! simply an inaccurate & misleading statement

No it is not. If Tebow wasn't all up in people's faces then he wouldn't be persecuted or if he was actually a good quarterback.
Most players in the NFL are Christians.

like I said hubris, unthought-out, an inaccurate statement...do we need a Rooney Rule to address religious inequality in the NFL too?
let the cream rise to the top... every monkey on his limb. competition is the elixir of success! the only color that interest me is aqua & orange.
just hope these bleeding hearts & liberal media don't tear apart the the dolphin-family. this garbage has the potential to set Miami back to square one & I don't like it. enough of this hypocrisy...
