. Yeremiah Bell has got to do a better job defending tight ends. While it might be true, as coach Tony Sparano said, that Tony Gonzalez (5 catches, 73 yards, 1 TD) has made a career of having days like Sunday, the bar doesn’t drop much with the Colts’ Dallas Clark coming up next week and San Diego’s Antonio Gates six days after that.
miamironforum_veteranI don't see any changes coming from Bell as he has been poor in pass coverage his whole career and to even ask him to do something he is not or never has been good at is asking quite a bit.This is why I questioned bringing in Wilson who is almost a carbon copy of Bell(both decent against the run)but a bit lost in pass coverage.
Our safety play will be marginal at best against the pass this season
I just find it frustrating when this team is paying top money to one dimensional players
