Yeah but "the QBs" didn't throw five, only henne and mccown did. Beck was INT free. Omg teh biassss!!!!
I'm glad their working on Blitz pickups, because whoever the qb ends up being, getting less sacks woudl be huge for confidence, comfortability in the pocket and risk of injury. I hope that continues to be an area of focus prior to the season opener. I have a feeling lots of teams will be sending blitzes early and often against us, knowing the state of our qb situation and our new line pieces.
I will not listen to the negatives from these bloggers any longer.I just need to see it for my own eyes Saturday to make my own judgements. Lets go Dolphins !!!
True, but a good Oline and TE can help break a long one on a run blitz. For me, I wonder if it would be a good idea to start the Wr who had the fewest drops the week before? We could see Bess and Foster and Camarillo starting....
The WR drops are really coming at a horrible time. Our QB's, at least Beck and Henne, seem to be getting better, more confident, and more at ease with what they are trying to do. The last thing we need are good throws to be dropped like we are seeing. I have confidence this will get turned around. Our staff is a straight up, no nonsense, hold people accountable type of staff and they will get it turned around.
couldn't agree more. Lets hope Fasano, Ricky, Ronnie, Ginn all have fly tape hands in those situations early in the games.
IF we can pick up blitzes, and the Qb can stay upright and composed long enough Ginn has the ability to really make teams play for it. Do it one or two times and the blitzes will ease up.
