Except his offensive linemen, Donald Brown, Mike Vanderjagt or Jamie Naughright. You
know what, that Peyton Manning sure is a dick.

He keeps hiring OCs tied to QBs like Rodgers and Manning. He kept guys that hurt the team around far too long. The owner makes the hires that determine the fate of the franchise.

You’re pretending like that isn’t the most important duty of an owner. It’s not all about nickels and dimes and being hands off.

Please tell me how trading a Pro Bowler for a low 4th rounder is selling high. You’d have to completely ignore what he’s accomplished and only look at where we drafted him to think that’s selling high.

Also, knowing what he’s capable of, how was it a good move to dump him for a low 4th round pick? Isn’t it worth the risk his knees deteriorate over the next couple of years if that’s all you’re getting?

Only if you totally ignore that he's not doing what the coach wants, is a problem in the locker room and has bad knees to the point that he hasn't been practicing.

Those are Gase’s talking points to distract from his failure to field a respectable offense.

Let’s assume the worst case scenario. Let’s say Ajayi’s career is done within two seasons. What did you lose out on? A low 4th round pick.

We know what his potential is. Isn’t that worth the risk of losing out on a low 4th round pick? It was a hasty decision.

It's selling high because we drafted him in the 5th rd. We used him well, got a good, not great season. He was never expected to last the average 3-4 years from the beginning. You know that right? And then we got more than what we paid for him. Usually you trade away players and you get less in draft value. Exceptions of course but for exceptional players, which Ajayi is not and never will be.

That's selling high, maybe not as high as fans may perceive Ajayi's value to the team was, but still a good return on investment. Wait til the end of next season and you'll see. We just aren't used to seeing good deals made by this team. This is an exception.

There is an old saying that applies here I think to Ajayi: "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Ajayi is faded already.

manning literally called him a ''genius''..

I figured that was a cool thing when he became our coach...he spent many a night in the film room.

I’ll just state my position and we can agree to disagree. For what we got, I would risk his knees going out completely within a couple of seasons in hopes he’d make a comeback.

So this club level secret knowledge how come it’s not out in the media? Why is it only locked away in this forums special gate? It’s probably speculation and logical discussions there because of it was legit news it would have broken sonewhere.

Oh look Ajayi can make plays when you have a line that can block, go figure. But nah, its the running backs fault here in Miami.

How do people know how long his knees are going to last? Have doctors gotten that much smarter all of a sudden? How do we know he's good and not great? He's in his third year, and his first year he barely played at all. He had two consecutive 200-yard games last year. The other guys in the entire history of the NFL who have done that are OJ Simpson, Earl Campbell, and Ricky Williams. Pretty rare company.

I don't know what was going on in the locker room. Obviously it wasn't good. Maybe he really had to go, even though we're only getting a (late) 4th round pick for him. But this chorus of "his knees are gone" (or soon will be gone) "he's not that good anyway" "there's nothing he can do that Drake and Williams can't do" -- I don't get it.

Ajai was the problem shake my head. In the first half limited plays and less than a week of study. 5 carries 69 yards and a touchdown in first half.

Regardless of the BS Ajai is a great back and I’m almost willing to bet his limited touches this game he will out yard the entire Miami running back productivity tonight.

He must be happy his team has 31 points in a half!!!! We haven’t had 31 in 4 games combined! Good for you Ajai

Frankly, I don't care how well Ajayi does in Philly. It's been how many years with an oline that sucks, and who thinks it will be fixed next season? Without a quality oline, Ajayi would not have been consistent here. So, combine that with apparent attitude problems, not studying, and knees that could go at any time, you trade him.

He should outgain Miami, Philly has a far better blocking line. Him having success in Philly would not mean it was a mistake to trade him.

Problem is you get more for a back of his quality, not a late fourth round pick. Not at his age. We got robbed value wise.

Most everyone predicted that Ajayi would have a few good games in philly. He’s on an overall better team. Not only that, he’s one of the younger guys there and will be put in his place if he starts his BS. All of their RB’s are doing well today.

So? Are these the same Dr’s? Did every other team who passed him up use the Dolphins Dr’s? He has 2nd round ability, but 5th round knees. He was fired up and had a few good games last year too. I’m sure he’s proving a point today. But, he’ll fade as the season progresses.

Saying that, I like him and wish the best for him.

He’s having a good game in his first game... against the Broncos... in a game where the coaching staff wasn’t totally sure he would be ready yet... lol Philly does things differently then Miami... for one, their HC isn’t a power hungry, my way or the highway coach... Doug is a more motivational type coach (complete opposite). I live in Philly, I know.

They got a QB in year 2 from a D-III college lighting up the NFL... better then any QB Miami has had here since Marino... fair to say Philly will win before we do and it’s fact when I say they have been more relevant to the NFL since 2000 then Miami... for DanMarino...just don’t speak on Philly when you really don’t know what your talking about.. you create opinions that aren’t true to back your story.. it’s nonsensical
