If you're a pilot.
No flight experience necessary. I guess I'm overqualified there with 10+ hours logged on MS Flight Simulator and an actual fighter pilot simulator I went on during an air show.
Except I don't speak Bahasa Malaysian...
My dad spent his whole career in the Air Force before he died. One of the biggest treats of our lives were going to the air shows and getting to see the Thunderbirds and the insides of all the planes. It was so cool.
My dad bounced around between Navy and Air Force. Loved every air show that I went to. Midnight flybys not so much.
I used to love watching the Thunderbirds at HAFB.
Even though I love to travel and almost always do so by air, I'm aviaphobic and this doesn't exactly sit well with me. From what I remember the U.S. has a set of standards for countries to be eligible to land at American airports. My guess is that Malaysia might fall off that list.
