wanted Bradshaw, but I liked the Bush aquisition because i thought Dthomas's skillset was ready to contribute early, from a traditional standpoint, and that combo would be a nice one moving forward, condsidering youth, injury history, and complimentary skillsets... I think Bush has received more criticism than deserved round here.
Bush has had two issues: nagging injuries the fumble when we were in FG range Otherwise I have no complaints about his play, maybe he needs more work on blocking, otherwise he's been okay. Want to see how he does on the turf in KC.
It will be interesting to see if Brandon Jacobs can respond to the situation after crying about things last week.
AdamSchefter Adam Schefter Person familar with Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw's injury texted this: "Not serious injury - should play Sunday. No surgery (needed)."
The thing with me is that I never thought or expected him to be our every down back when I was on board with the signing..I believe the coaches thought D Thomas would eventually be getting the bulk of the carries, and I think that was evident when Thomas was healthy and totin the rock, bush was not messin with his carries.. I think all the talk about bush being the bell cow from the staff was just coaches talk.. Thomas gonna play this week Pod?, haven't been watchin my interviews this week.
As unfair as it is, Bush's biggest criticism has been that Darren Sproles has been lighting it up in NO.
