Forget oil, food is the big money bin right now. The world is hurtin agriculturewise, get some potash, or ethonal stock!!!!
We have had a dozen increases in fertilizer costs since November. The companies make more money selling it over sees right now, and don't really care what a bag of fertilizer costs now.
That is an interesting topic. My father in law is a farmer of several generations, 3rd I believe. Many of the kids that would've been expected to follow the family tradition a generation ago, are now opting out for different professional ventures. Not to mention those that are sticking it out are really struggleing financially. I framed houses for several years, and always felt it was a demanding job physically...and it was; but farmers work incredibly long physical days
