Aerosmith Breaks Up/Tyler Quits

I was coming to post the exact same thing.

 

I didn't even know this would be news. I didn't even know they were still considered together when you haven't done anything.

 

cant we just call this "retiring"

 

They are not retiring, Aerosmith is looking for a new singer and Steven Tyler is going solo.

 

thats a shame.

 

Agreed, that's like waiting for your kids to die of old age before getting divorced.

 

Tyler is now claiming he didn't quit and the band isn't replacing him.

 

Cool. Still love those guys, the fact that they've been making music longer than I've been alive is cool. I can't imagine anyone taking over for Tyler. That would be like replacing David Lee Roth with Sammy Hagar.

 

Saw them in one of their last shows this summer. It was a rough tour for the band. Hope they can keep going but they ain't get any younger.

They were still making music? Who knew.
