He was rumoured to be a target of ours, but to me they are right, coming off a serious knee problem this does not look good for Tate. Perhaps draft day darwinism will claim a few more?
With his knee, I would not have been surprised if he got passed over in the draft on that alone. If this pos weed test is true, then it is a pretty sure thing he won't be.
Maybe, Tate is the NCAA's all time leader in kick return yardage so if healthy I think he'll at least get a shot at the NFL but if he is drafted it won't be until late, like the 7th round or maybe a freebie supplemental pick.
How much it cost you to put that in? Anyways, back on topic.... I never saw enough of Tate to really assess him, but I;d say that the drugs on top of the injury have to hurt his draft status DRASTICALLY.
