    It's the pre-season, so maybe you've got a few spare minutes.

    If so, you might be interested in this video discussing theory behind how we evaluate players, the weaknesses in what we do and considering how we might better evaluate performances by athletes.

    It get very theoretical but it's interesting and I'd say worth the watch. You'll need to give it your attention though. So set aside an hour and give it a listen.

    A lot of this deals with things that are rather obvious or intuitive but it's interesting to think them through.

    I've just found the channel so I'm not familiar with it all but it looks like his shorter videos will be examples of his application of this theory of evaluating players as problem solvers.
