It's starting to feel like things might be turning around in Cleveland. A franchise that has been synonymous with losing so much so that a Browns fan requested to have Browns players be pallbearers at his funeral so that the Browns could let him down one last time, now has a new image. After hiring Sports24/7, who has an impressive resume at several stops around the NFL, to be their new GM they have hired a completely new coaching staff led by former Auburn coach Gus Malzahn. Malzahn was thier 1st choice all along and they showed that by offering him a $7 million deal right off of the bat. Since the hire, fans in Cleveland have been cheering in the streets and wearing their Browns gear proudly.

Looking at Malzahn's resume, you can see why. The guy has simply won everywhere he's been. When asked to comment on the hire, new GM Sports24/7 said "The guy is an offensive mastermind. The things he's done at every level have been extremely impressive to say the least, and we feel there's no reason to expect that to change in the NFL."

At the coordinator positions, the Browns went with a couple of inexperienced candidates, but two men who many people believe will have very bright futures in the NFL in new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, and new defensive coordinator Kris Richard. Dorsey, is a former National Championship winning, two-time Heisman finalist quarterback at the University of Miami. After a career as a journeyman backup quarterback in the NFL and CFL, Dorsey was hired as a scout and in the offseason trained Cam Newton, Christian Ponder, Joe Webb, and Randall Cobb with IMG Academy. For the 2013 NFL season, Dorsey was hired as the quarterbacks coach in Carolina and helped Cam Newton to have a break out year for the Panthers finally realizing the massive potential everyone knew he had. It's expected that the Browns will ease Dorsey into his new position as Malzahn is going to call the offensive plays for Cleveland. Richard was a former 3rd round draft pick at cornerback from USC. He was hired as an assistant on Pete Carroll's staff in 2008. He followed Carroll to the NFL with Seattle and became the defensive backs coach for what turned into one of the best defensive backfields the NFL has ever seen, The Legion of Boom. After hearing that Richard was given the job in Cleveland, Richard Sherman tweeted that he will miss his coach and that he and his teammates would have never turned into The Legion of Boom without him. Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas echoed those statements shortly after.

As for the new GM, there have been plenty of rumblings that he has kept the phone lines busy at Browns headquarters over the past week. According to a team source, they have multiple deals in place that will net them both players and picks. The one position most fans are waiting to be solved is at the quarterback position. "It's no secret that for a team to succeed, they need a franchise quarterback," the GM said, "That is absolutely our number one priority and we have been talking about some possibilities with multiple teams, and of course, there's always the draft route." The Browns have the number 4 overall pick and most pundits are pegging them to take a quarterback with that pick if they can't find one in the trade market. But based off of Sports24/7's history, we know that what everyone expects is not necessarily what ends up happening. But based on his history, we can definitely expect lots of trades. This is a GM who has traded big names in the past like Larry Fitgerald, Brian Cushing, and Ben Roethlisberger. We don't expect him to be shy about making moves. The new GM also has very high expectations. He closed out his introductory press conference by proclaiming "I guarantee you all this: I WILL take the Browns to the Super Bowl :shifty: ."
