A New Beginning Brings Plenty Of Competition

Not a bad read at all. The one thing I don't get is this:

How does his dad standing in a MLB outfield give him any advantage as a hopefull NFL guard??

 

Hopefully, athleticism, dedication, and smarts still counts for something.

 

This TC has to be all abut only one thing: competition. Nothing more, nothing less, all about competition, period.

 

Same as Eli's bro and Father playing qb did. It's just pro sports. And athleticism and knowledge of the hard work and struggles ahead.

 

Competition is good, We'll have the best guys winning out the starting jobs. We won't be handing out jobs this year.

 

Yeah, our ST should be ALOT better this year.

 

Now, THAT is an open-field tackle, the way it's supposed to be done! Hopefully, the rest of our defensive players are paying attention during tackling drills! He really brings the lumber on those hits!
