Bottom line - it was a crappy situation, we have a guy working hard, we're making the most of it as a team. It is what it is. Show some support. ?

it still shows Gase has control and players believe in his system. Despite all the negative things, you never heard anyone saying or doing the opposite. Sure Timmons could be counted, but it's not like he was cut and he has solidified a defense. Maxwell apparently freelanced, but he was on the verge of benching anyway. Team seems rock solid, despite what we see on tv

Landry states it's embarrassing to have fans chanting for another player (Moore). Well you SHOULD be embarrassed! You should be embarrassed by the overall play of the entire offense, to include yourself Landry. Our offense is playing so badly that we're not in the cellar statistically...we're under the cellar itself!

While I applaud your loyalty to the team's designated starting quarterback, offensively the only thing that's truly changed this season is the quarterback himself. All of the pieces that played last year are still in place but unlike last year, this offense isn't producing like last year's did and the ONE difference is who is playing quarterback. So don't get upset at fans who are chanting for Moore. Get upset at yourself for poor play that causes these chants.

I never really give a shit about Landry or what he has to say, but I'm glad he is standing up for his teammate and for the first time I find myself respecting him. Shows team unity.

Fans have a right to react any way they want. its this jackwad that "doesn't understand". Fans dont sign players, prepare them, decide who starts...all they can do is react when the team sucks. And this team sucks.

Which position on the team (among players) is mostly likely to cause the greatest disruption if changed? Quarterback, right? It's the single-most influential position anywhere on a team. That being the case, to say that QB is the only thing that has changed it technically true but doesn't reflect the significance of that change.

Additionally as you point out, it's the offense that isn't producing. As much as we might isolate one position or players, the teamwork required in the NFL is greater than any other sport. So you're right to point out that Landry himself should be upset, along with the whole offense, not just Cutler. And think that's Landry's point. He's seeing this from a team perspective, not an individual perspective. He might not like it were the fans booing the whole team but perhaps he'd prefer that to singling out one player.

Either way, I think the events of the last couple of weeks have shown us, there's more going on behind the scenes than we might spot, and apparently there have been a lot of WR mistakes and misses. We should consider that, and perhaps use it to focus any frustations - aiming at the whole team, not just one guy. Sounds like Landry, and maybe others, would respect that more.

There is 1 sure way to shut all of the fans/commentators up. Go out and play better on offense. They have 1 job, and act like we are being unreasonable when they suck at it. If this team is united and a great locker room team, but this is what they put on the field, maybe they need to be a little less united...

Landry is 100% correct.

Cutler isn't playing well, but neither is anyone else. And to call out one person when there are 10 others messing up just as bad is ignorant.

He's right...fans should learn what players want to hear and how important their support and energy are....

When I heard the chants I was watching Moore and it must of felt awesome for him, but it's not a good look

It was so embarrassing watching all those people chanting for Moore. I had to mute my TV for most of the game.

Stuff like this will stick with Landry when he is deciding whether to re-sign here.

People do not realize our Left side of the OL got worse this offseason.

Why would you want an insensitive bigot on the team?

Oh well.

Big difference this year. I thought he was supposed to be the lifeblood of the team based on those clamoring for his extension, but shows you how much that act of his impacts our offensive performance. On a team with no legitimate vertical offense he's an average Joe.

I'm sorry he feels that way, I think the offenses effort and performance has been embarrassing and disrespectful to the fans who support you!

We may not directly pay them, but they don't get paid if we're not there. We deserve better and have a right to voice our disgust with this offense.

Not sure if it was posted, but there's a pretty funny pic out there of Kap holding a sign that says: "Will stand for food".
