They have to be down to 80 players by training camp. So there will be two more before the pads go on.

 

My guess is Scorpio Babers lasted as long as he did based on name alone.

 

Sorry to see Jy Bond go. I have several Aussie friends and they were really rooting for him.

 

Well, from what I heard, he was getting picked on alot by the QB's the past week.

 

Indeed. They just can't participate.

I remember we had guys on there for like two days under Saban.

 

Yeah its too bad, I was rooting for him, because I am huge Aussie Rules fan myself (I follow Hawthorn)

 

I'm going to say Green makes the 53 man roster. If for anything, depth and veteran type leadership; but more for depth than anything else.

 

That seems a little unfair doesn't it? I mean its hard to judge a player in shorts.

 

Well, from what i hear, the aussie has been shankin footballs all over the field ever since he got off the plane, and Scorpio has been around for a year or two, so im assuming they have seen enough of him.

Its interesting to see who's going but it will be more interesting to see who is coming from other teams cuts and the waiver wire.

 

What good is depth if it isn't quality.

While I'm not giving up on Green, would like to see what he does in July, it's still a little disconcerting.

 

Although I agree, I think Green is good enough to be a back up at the very least.

Very disappointed about what we're hearing on Green so far. Hopefully he's just having a hard time with the Defensive schemes and will improve by TC. Otherwise, sounds like Vontae is going to get a decent shot at starting.
