    Picking up steam.

Interesting that the Dolphins are signing their linebackers first.

Will Koa Misi be the next domino to fall? Has anyone in the second round (or close to him) been signed yet?

I really think Kurt Coleman could work his way up through the Eagles depth chart. Maybe not as a rookie, but eventually.

Oh and I've thought from the start that Austin Spitler has a better chance to make the team than Chris McCoy. Not that I don't see some talent in McCoy, just Spitler is a more solid football player IMO.

Then again, sometimes this becomes about who is in danger of being claimed off waivers. So, what will matter is who flashes in preseason.

Spitler is the better football player, but McCoy's physical tools are incredible. It remains to be seen whether McCoy can elevate his game to an NFL level, and I certainly think Spitler has the advantage in that department, but I think McCoy probably has the higher upside.

I like both players, but as a Nashvillian, I'm rooting hard for the former Blue Raider.

Both of these guys are gonna have to do it on special teams. It's interesting because I think the path for McCoy might be less encumbered, but he's reportedly got a longer ways to go. He'll be working outside and on special teams.

Because Spitler already has four guys in front of him inside, I gotta believe he'll have to work outside in addition to inside and special teams. And he will have to show some ability to function outside. Or someone else (Edds, Crowder, etc.) will need to in order to create the roster space needed.

Obviously an injury would change everything (heaven forbid).
