Belichick is going to shove this kid right down our throats if we cut him. Then again, we have the amazing Egnew taken in the third round. LMFAO.

    Always open.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Miller get cut. He has been so uninspiring I'd rather take Slaton and Thigpen over him.

Just because you trade up for player doesn't make him immune to getting cut. Wont be surprised if he does.

I would be stunned. In what world is it not surprising for a team to cut a rookie they just drafted in the 4th round? Especially when that rookie was a first round talent in their eyes?

Give Lamar a little time. He's the type of back that could be a big gain threat with this blocking scheme if the line ever decides to block.

Only the Oakland Raiders would do that. The past Oakland Raiders, Al Davis-led, that is.

Lets be honest, nobody is really finding holes behind that thing we call an offensive line. Miller looked good the first game catching the ball out of the backfield, quick burst. Hogan will easily get picked up if we try and stash him on the practice squad. I honestly dont know why the kid isn't being give a shot with the starters?? What do we have to lose all that amazing talent we have on the outside there?? HA!! Johnathan Martin is the one they should be calling 7/11 cause his side of the line is always open.

In the Dolphins' view, Miller is a first round pick who they got early. This is basically a redshirt year for him and Vernon as far as results go. They're both safe, neither is getting cut.

Well, everyone knows that if you don't immediately produce then you're a bust. Why give players time to learn the offense? Why give them time to develop?

TO be fair, Egnew has look crap and clueless for a month both as a blocker and pass catcher. Any hope of him making an impact this year is fading quickly.

He actually needs a year on the practice squad, but becausew of his measurables and draft status he'd get taken by another team.

That simply isn't going to happen. You are cementing Ireland from the get go if you can't even get his picks on the 53. Now I know you and many others may want that, but you find a way to see if Miller can play.

He is destined for a year on the inactive list, not the practice squad. However, why are we all shocked that tight ends from Missouri struggle in their exposure to the NFL when they do not even get in a stance or be required to block?

I do like Thigpen, and the Dolphins actually used him more like a reciever than rb the last night.

What does getting in a stance or being required to block have to do with his dropping so many easy passes?

I wouldn't say he has dropped "so many" he's made a few nice catches as well.

Anyway I wouldn't say it's a huge impact, but trying to focus on technique and the things you're learning could have a small effect on your gameplay.

He's made a combined 3 catches for 43 yards, and it seems to me off the top of my head, he has at least 3 drops.

I think it is three. I give him a pass on one of them from game one simply because though he was open it was a weird kind of adjustment.

I'm not saying he's played well, just that I don't see the gloom and doom some do.

I see something in the kid. Watching him break that LB tackle and pick up extra yards was a thing of beauty.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say he makes the team.

Well practice sq at least if we can stash him there.

It's possible that by midseason Egnew is making an impact out there, but I think the number of disappointing questionmarks on this team is starting to pile up.

The most important question, is Ryan Tannehill the read deal, has fallen positively so that's great news.

But Martin, Egnew, Vernon, Miller have not impressed. Neither has Naanee. Chad Johnson experiment didn't pay off. Hartline not coming back yet from injury.

Switch to 4-3 making us better or worse so far appears worse.

Too many "Question Mark" aspects falling negative.

We need a couple, outside of Ryan, to begin falling in our favor before the season gets going here.

Do you mean Hogan nor or Egnew? I can;t recall Egnew breaking any tackle so I assume you mean Hogan.

Hogan made the team when he made that great special teams tackle, imo.

I was speaking of Hogan and agree that special team tackle was text book.

It can't possibly be any easier to take a chance on a young receiver than it is with this group of WR's...Just go with your gut and keep him. Who gives a sheit?

    The omnipotent one has spoken:

OmarKelly RT @Daniel_Malone: Will teams be more likely to poach Hogan off the PS because of Hard KnocksĀ» who cares? He's a 5th or 6th WR in the NFL.

OmarKelly RT @Daniel_Malone: Every roster spot is importantĀ» Wallace, Pruitt, Moore & Fuller are ALL better than Hogan. He has talent, but 3rd string

Hogan is the kind of guy that would thrive in a WCO. The question is will they get stupid and try to stash him on the practice sqaud. Naanee has got to show something in the third game. To some extent, I want to see more from Hicks and Westerman as well.
