Just went to the local Circuit City. Great deals on games right now. Picked up 3 games to play later in April with my gift cards: Tomb Raider: Underworld for XB360 - $25 SOCOM (w/headset) for PS3 - $20 (great deal since all I wanted was the bluetooth headset that works wonders with my cell phone) Call of Duty: World at War 360 - $25
wow how does your circuit city still have games? The only thing mines got left are copies of soul caliber and prince of persia, everything else has pretty much been pillaged by now. But i did buy soul caliber.
Barely anyone goes there because of the difficulty getting parking I guess. Lots of great games like Resistance 2, GTAIV, MGS4, GOW2, Fallout 3, etc still have 2 or 3 copies left. Every game that could be on a top 100 games per console list could be had at half or more price. Talked to the manager and because Wii games are selling horribly at his branch (pretty much untouched on the counters), could reach 75-80% off by March.
Finally, Circuit City offers actual deals. How discounted are the PS3 games now? I'd like to pick up Soul Calibur IV and maybe Call of Duty 4.
Picked up resistance 2 for $30 and an advance wars game for DS for $15. The CC had been picked pretty clean.
I starting to think I'm should go back and start buying up games to sell later at slightly less than retail prices.
We've still got 1 year and 1600 points in chunks at our CC. Not to mention iTunes cards (technically gaming I guess if you use them for iPod/iPhone games).
