With AJ Wallace walking off, and Sheets going down, along with Edds.

We now have 3 roster spots now open but those three slots, Rb, Db and ILB, two of them we have plenty of camp bodies or proven NFLers at Rb and Db.

That creates two slots to fill with virtually anyone they chose to fill them with, to me, I'd like a Vet Free safety and maybe Shawn Crable or Adalius Thomas or..Aaron Schobel.

The problem with Schobel is he did not want to convert to OLB in buffalo, why would he wish to in Miami? And he is 33 and has a contract worth 6 million dollars this year.

    What say you?

Probably some rookies. I would like at least one KR prospect. I saw Tom Santi got cut got by the Colts. Wouldn't mind taking a look at him at TE. And obviously on the lookout for a pass situation LB

If the Bills cut Wang, we could have Wang fill in one of the three holes. Assuming they can heal Wang up after he's let go.

I think Grice-Mullen takes over for Sheets, along with Cobbs makes up the KO guys....I would give Crable a tryout as well Pads...

Well, the problem with a returner is, there are already 4 in camp excluding Bess and Cobbs, there are only so many at bats to go around.

A pass catching Te would be great, wouldn't mind a Nolan crony or two for the D.

Wang would be a two headed monster if he could fill that many holes.

He played in the UFL last yr and was usually the best player on the field.

But I'd think we'd need a nickel ILB?

This time of year the pickings are really slim.

    AJ Wallace quit today.

I don't think those roster spots will be filled. If you recall camps from 2008 and 2009, we had vacancies open up before first and second cuts, but didn't fill them. Sparano talked about using the chance to get more reps for the guys who were on the bubble.

Once Schobel was released his contract went out the window. He was due a 2 million roster bonus if he just showed up for winter conditioning, which he didn't. I believe if they put him on the roster for camp, he automatically got something like another 4 million. By releasing him he is free to sign wherever he wants but his contract does not come with him. I seriously doubt any team would give him close to 6 million for the year. Then again, stranger things have happened.

Not yet, he has to pass through Waivers first, any team can claim him and his Bills contract would be the responsibility of the club that put the claim on him.

lol Jeff George still wants to play

    http://www.sbnation.com/2010/8/4/16...s-vikings-jeff-george-take-his-place#comments

Last seen playing back-up for the Redskins in 2001, George took to the radio waves this morning to let Minnesota know he is still a free agent (for nine years running now), and is readily available to play quarterback.

George showed interest in joining the Vikings back in '07, and Brad Childress was less-than open to the idea. George is about the same age as Favre, although it's probably not going out on a limb to say Childress won't be interested this time around, either. Which is unfortunate, because an NFL with Jeff George in it is infinitely sexier than an NFL without him.
