I recently realized that I've seen 23 bowl games over the last three to four weeks. A lot of players have caught my attention.

    Game balls:
RB Gartrell Johnson from Colorado State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Austin Collie from BYU. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
ILB Ronnie Palmer from Arizona. Currently graded as an UDFA.
QB Willie Tuitama from Arizona. Currently has a 7th round grade.
ILB/FB Jason Phillips from TCU. Currently has a 4th round grade.
RB Ian Johnson from Boise State. Currently has a 6th round grade.
ILB Frantz Joseph from FAU. Currently has a 6th to 7th round grade.
WR Hakeem Nicks from North Carolina. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
QB/WR Pat White from WVU. Currently has a 3rd to 4th round grade.
FS Courtney Greene from Rutgers. Currently has a 4th round grade.
WR Kenny Britt from Rutgers. Currently has a 2nd round grade.
WR Jarett Dillard from Rice. Currently has a 4th to 5th round grade.
ILB Scott McKillop from Pitt. Currently has a 4th to 5th round grade.
ILB Victor Butler from Oregon State. Currently has a 6th round grade.
WR/KR Sammie Stroughter from Oregon State. Currently has a 6th round grade.
NT B.J. Raji from Boston College. Currently has a 1st round grade.
ILB Robert Francois from Boston College. Currently has a 7th round grade.
RB Shonn Greene from Iowa. Currently has a 2nd round grade.
WR/KR Kenny McKinley from South Carolina. Currently has a 4th round grade.
OLB Clay Matthews from USC. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
ILB Rey Maualuga from USC. Currently has a 1st round grade.
WR/KR Derrick Williams from Penn State. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
WR Freddie Brown from Utah. Currently graded as an UDFA.
ILB James Laurinaitis from Ohio State. Currently has a 1st round grade.
WR/KR Brian Robiskie from Ohio State. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
WR Quan Cosby from Texas. Currently has a 4th to 5th round grade.
WR/KR Juaquin Iglesias from Oklahoma. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
CB Brandon Ghee from Wake Forest. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
SS/FS Darrell Stuckey from Kansas. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
SS Kurt Coleman from Ohio State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
FS/SS Andrew Sendejo from Rice. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Sean Weatherspoon from Missouri. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Gerald McRath from Southern Miss. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Boris Lee from Troy. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Willie VanDeSteeg from Minnesota. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
WR Duke Calhoun from Memphis. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
WR/KR Percy Harvin from Florida. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
TE Jermaine Gresham from Oklahoma. Junior who hasn't declared yet.

This does not mean that I necessarily think these guys are all great players. Just that they had a great game. For example, I'm not a huge fan of Willie VanDeSteeg but I think Robert Francois has the makings of an excellent ILB. However, both played very well in their respective bowl games.

A few guys really raised my eyebrows. If I was Jeff Ireland I'd be requesting a lot more game film of Ronnie Palmer and Andrew Sendejo. Clay Matthews had the best day of anybody on that USC defense and that's saying something. Never paid much attention to Kurt Coleman before but he was just tremendous. Freddie Brown caught everything thrown near him and I lost count of how many 1st downs he converted. However, he also missed part of the game due to a migraine. Red flag? Willie Tuitama was outstanding and I'd draft him even with John Beck already on the roster. I really hope Brandon Ghee declares for the draft.

I was already very high on Hakeem Nicks, Victor Butler, Sammie Stroughter, B.J. Raji, Robert Francois, Kenny McKinley, and Quan Cosby so it didn't surprise me that they all played very well.

Players such as Navorro Bowman from Penn State or Dezmon Briscoe from Kansas would certainly get a game ball but they're not eligible for this year's draft so I didn't include them. Mark Herzlich and Eric Decker would also get game balls but they're staying in school so that's why you don't see their names either. Just in case you were wondering.

Players who had a disappointing bowl game:
FS/SS David Bruton from Notre Dame. Currently has a 4th to 5th round grade.
WR Cortez Gent from FAU. Currently has a 6th round grade.
CB Allen Langford from Wisconsin. Currently has a 7th round grade.
OLB Larry English from Northern Illinois. Currently has a 2nd round grade.
OLB Corey Wootton from Northwestern. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
FS/SS William Moore from Missouri. Currently has a 1st round grade.
TE Chase Coffman from Missouri. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
NT Evander Hood from Missouri. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
TE Brandon Pettigrew from Oklahoma State. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
SS/KR Patrick Chung from Oregon. Currently has a 2nd round grade.
FS/SS Louis Delmas from Western Michigan. Currently has a 3rd round grade.
FB Conredge Collins from Pitt. Currently has a 6th to 7th round grade.
CB/KR D.J. Moore from Vanderbilt. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
CB Keenan Lewis from Oregon State. Currently has a 3rd to 4th round grade.
ILB Jasper Brinkley from South Carolina. Currently has a 6th to 7th round grade.
CB/KR Captain Munnerlyn from South Carolina. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
OLB Brian Cushing from USC. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
OLB Aaron Maybin from Penn State. Currently has a 1st round grade.
FS Rashad Johnson from Alabama. Currently has a 3rd to 4th round grade.
CB Malcolm Jenkins from Ohio State. Currently has a 1st round grade.
OLB Marcus Freeman from Ohio State. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
OT Alex Boone from Ohio State. Currently has a 3rd to 4th round grade.
SS Nic Harris from Oklahoma. Currently has a 1st round grade.
WR Seyi Ajirotutu from Fresno State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Brandon Lang from Troy. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Kyle Wilson Boise State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Jairus Byrd from Oregon. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Maurice Evans from Penn State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Sean Smith from Utah. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
FS/SS Anderson Russell from Ohio State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
WR/KR Brian Hartline from Ohio State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Sergio Kindle from Texas. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Jermaine Cunningham from Florida. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Auston English from Oklahoma. Junior who hasn't declared yet.

Now I'm not saying these are bad players. In fact I really like several of them. It simply wasn't their day. In particular I can see why several people like Larry English and Louis Delmas. Both have a tremendous motor and they were flying all over the field even though they didn't make a lot of plays.

Just because William Moore and Aaron Maybin didn't have a great bowl game is no reason to believe that they aren't capable of having great careers in the NFL.

If I'm being honest I'm a little concerned over Rashard Johnson's falling stock. I was expecting bigger things from Seyi Ajirotutu and Brandon Pettigrew. I've never thought Malcolm Jenkins or Marcus Freeman were all that so it didn't surprise me that they didn't have a great game. Nic Harris and Jasper Brinkley are quickly becoming guys I do not want.

George Selvie and Taylor Mays also had disappointing bowl games but they've both said they're staying in school so I didn't list them.

Big name prospects who didn't have a great game but didn't have a bad game either:
LB Aaron Curry from Wake Forest. Currently has a 1st round grade.
CB Alphonso Smith from Wake Forest. Currently has a 1st to 2nd round grade.
SS Chip Vaughn from Wake Forest. Currently has a 3rd to 4th round grade.
OLB Everette Brown from FSU. Currently has a 1st round grade.
ILB Tyrone McKenzie from South Florida. Currently has a 2nd round grade.
NT Ron Brace from Boston College. Currently has a 4th round grade.
RB Chris "Beanie" Wells from Ohio State. Currently has a 1st round grade.
QB Sam Bradford from Oklahoma. Currently has a 1st round grade.
OLB Brian Orakpo from Texas. Currently has a 1st round grade.
WR Louis Murphy from Florida. Currently has a 2nd to 3rd round grade.
ILB Brandon Spikes from Florida. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Jerry Hughes from TCU. Junior who hasn't declared yet.

In case you haven't noticed I list most defensive ends as outside linebackers because that's the position they would play for the Dolphins.

Potential sleepers who made a few plays:
ILB Stanley Arnoux from Wake Forest. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR D.J. Boldin from Wake Forest. Currently has a 7th round grade.
TE Bear Pascoe from Fresno State. Currently has a 4th round grade.
TE Kory Sperry from Colorado State. Very good run blocker and he currently has a 7th round grade.
OLB Jarriett Buie from South Florida. Currently graded as an UDFA.
CB/KR Ryan Mouton from Hawaii. Currently graded as an UDFA.
SS Stephen Hodge from TCU. Currently graded as an UDFA.
OLB/SS DeAndre Levy from Wisconsin. Currently has a 6th round grade.
OLB Kyle Moore from USC. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Patrick Turner from USC. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Deon Butler from Penn State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Jordan Norwood from Penn State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
FS Lendy Holmes from Oklahoma. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Manuel Johnson from Oklahoma. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Greg Carr from FSU. Currently graded as an UDFA.
CB/FS Weldon Brown from Louisiana Tech. Currently graded as an UDFA.
NT Boo Robinson from Wake Forest. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB/KR Devin Ross from Arizona. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
WR Jeremy Childs from Boise State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Patrick Robinson from FSU. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Perrish Cox from Oklahoma State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Pat Angerer from Iowa. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
FS Robert Johnson from Utah. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Koa Misi from Utah. Junior who hasn't declared yet.

Kory Sperry is an intriguing prospect. Could pay dividends for our running attack. Moore and Turner from USC aren't likely to make it to the 7th round if you ask me. Somebody is going to get a steal in Deon Butler. I really hope Perrish Cox declares but I don't think he will.

SS/FS Moses Harris from Fresno State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
SS/FS Mike Pagnotta from Colorado State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
OLB Jan Jorgensen from BYU. Currently has a 4th to 5th round grade.
CB Marquis Hundley from Arizona. Currently graded as an UDFA.
FS/CB Sherrod Martin from Troy. Currently has a 5th to 6th round grade.
SS Terence Moore from Troy. Currently has a 7th round grade.
FS/SS Steven Coleman from TCU. Currently graded as an UDFA.
OLB David Veikune from Hawaii. Currently has a 4th to 5th round grade.
ILB Adam Leonard from Hawaii. Currently has a 7th round grade.
DT Jervonte Jackson from FAU. Currently graded as an UDFA.
CB Jason McCourty from Rutgers. Currently has a 5th to 6th round grade.
QB Mike Teel from Rutgers. Currently graded as an UDFA.
OLB Willie Young from NC State. Currently has a 3rd round grade.
OLB Stryker Sulak from Missouri. Currently has a 5th to 6th round grade.
ILB Brock Christopher from Missouri. Currently graded as an UDFA.
SS/KR Ricky Price from Oklahoma State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
FS Quinton Moore from Oklahoma State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
CB Jacob Lacey from Oklahoma State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
OLB Nick Reed from Oregon. Currently graded as an UDFA.
CB Londen Fryar from Western Michigan. Currently has a 5th round grade.
WR Jamarko Simmons from Western Michigan. Currently has a 5th to 6th round grade.
SS Al Afalava from Oregon State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
CB Brandon Hughes from Oregon State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
SS/FS Greg Laybourn from Oregon State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
OLB Slade Norris from Oregon State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
SS Reshard Langford from Vanderbilt. Currently has a 7th round grade.
CB Stoney Woodson from South Carolina. Currently graded as an UDFA.
SS Kevin Ellison from USC. Currently has a 5th to 6th round grade.
FS Josh Pinkard from USC. Currently graded as an UDFA.
SS/FS Anthony Scirrotto from Penn State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
ILB Tyrell Sales from Penn State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
CB Lydell Sargeant from Penn State. Currently has a 7th round grade.
TE/FB Travis McCall from Alabama. Currently has a 6th round grade.
TE Rory Nicol from Ohio State. Currently graded as an UDFA.
NT Roy Miller from Texas. Currently has a 7th round grade.
WR Bryan Anderson from Central Michigan. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Frank Zombo from Central Michigan. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Ryan D''Imperio from Rutgers. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Will Tukuafu from Oregon. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Myron Lewis from Vanderbilt. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB Steven Stone from Vanderbilt. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB Traye Simmons from Minnesota. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
OLB A.J. Edds from Iowa. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
CB A.J. Wallace from Penn State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Josh Hull from Penn State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
SS/FS Justin Woodall from Alabama. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
WR/KR Brian Hartline from Ohio State. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Jared Norton from Texas. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
ILB Ryan Stamper from Florida. Junior who hasn't declared yet.
WR Carl Moore from Florida. Junior who hasn't declared yet.

These aren't necessarily bad players. I wouldn't rule out any of them just because they didn't have a great bowl game. On the other hand it doesn't exactly give me a warm and fuzzy feeling either.

This is not every single bowl game. The Emerald Bowl (Miami vs California) and Humanitarian Bowl (Maryland vs. Nevada) are two that I missed among others. I still have the Cotton, Liberty, International, Chick-Fil-A and Orange Bowl recorded but my list was getting so long I thought I'd post this and get some feedback.

Nice work dude. Just working my way through the last four or five. Was very impressed with Sean Witherspoon against Northwestern. Very active on the outside, super in pursuit and and ability to get through traffic. Interesting to see William Moore playing exclusively as a nickel corner in man/zone which they switched to after he got turned like a ferry on the opening touchdown. Man those were some icky hips.

I want Frantz Joseph..... but then again, I'm an FAU fan (and one that is glad you caught the Motor City Bowl).
