Of course. I just felt like Tracy is severely undervalued in the fantasy community. But Skat may get more carries at some point where Tracy may end up doing the receiving work from the backfield + some running. Thats the long term projection imo. This year its going to be predominantly Tracy until Skat catches up.
The Giants are among the NFL teams that I pay the very least amount of attention to, so I didn't really know who Tracy was for a while. I saw that he spent six years in college and is already going to be 26 this season though, so as a RB, he might not have the longest shelf life. Skattebo, despite spending five years in college himself, is about 2.5 years younger, so I bet he's their main man before too long if he pans out.
Tracy didn’t play RB though til his last year at Purdue. He has no tread on him other than years spent as a receiver before converting to rb. He should be fine imo at least til his 30s.
Maybe so. I'm not one to buy completely into the tread argument though, as somewhere around age 30 tends to be a hard wall even for guys who didn't have a heavy workload. Former Dolphin Kenyan Drake is one example, as he only carried the ball a total of 233 times in college, his heaviest ever workload was 239 carries in a NFL season, and he was still finished at 28.
In this case its not really an argument so much as its a fact. He didn't see the same kind of abuse at wr.
