Sorry to hear about your mom bro. I had pneumonia almost 5 years ago (Nov of 15) and there’s 2 things everyone should know about pneumonia..:
1. That shit is no joke. I never slept so much in my life. I took more sick days in 3 weeks then in 15 years with the same company. When your parents yelled at you about catching pneumonia growing up, this is why.
2. Hope you like tea and crackers cause that’s all you’ll have an appetite for. Seriously, I dropped more then 30lbs in those 3 weeks.

Not a fun experience.

Damn. I’ve had walking pneumonia before and even that was a bastard. Would hate to experience the real deal!

I’ve had Chronic Epstein Barr Virus though which is basically Mono but worse and lasts at least 6 months. 6+ months of debilitating fatigue. Just a complete collapse of all mental/physical energy & motivation. Impossible to hold down a job. Couldn’t get out of bed in the morning . Had to take 2-3 naps throughout the day . Night sweats got so bad that my bed sheets literally felt like they were just pulled from the washing machine prior to spin cycle. Not even gonna get into what happened when one of the B-12 shots got infected, lol.

I'm thinking Monday will be the draft start date. I'm trying to reach out to adamprez2003 for his whereabouts, I think he's the only one that we need a check-in from. We may want to have one potential replacement on-deck for him.

Yeah, he was really active through the time of the Super Bowl, then hasn't been back since.

Anyone interested in Jerrick McKinnon. Coming back to quite the opportunity and was the RB that SF wanted in the first place.

He's 28, and missed the entire 2018 and 2019 seasons with serious injuries. His last game came in the 2017 playoffs as a member of the Vikings. At this point, I don't think its a guarantee he ever sees the field again. And he only has five career games with more than 50 yards rushing.

They don’t have many other options and Kyle S has talked about how excited he is to get McKinnon back

And I definitely admit, I'd much rather have had reports on McKinnon through training camps and all. It will be interesting to see. I wasn't looking for a 1st or anything, just curious if someone was wanting to take advantage of the opportunity he has.

So I still haven't heard from Adam so I think there's two options we can go.

A) Find a replacement and let them take over immediately.

B) Have the team enter "auto-pilot mode" and we will draft BPA for each of the picks based on a pre-determined rankings website. I can set his line-up each week in hopes of him returning at some point. If he doesn't return during the season, we can look for a replacement owner in the 2021 offseason.

If we know if anybody who would be interested in taking over his team, feel free to send him or her here.

I would lean more toward having someone in the spot before the draft, but I know that may be hard at this point. I'm game either way.

I PM’ed him yesterday. I’m ok with whatever is decided tho my concern is more for the person since I believe he is in Nyc and he hasn’t been active since feb which is around when corona started getting serious here.

Yeah, that was my original thought as well. He doesn’t have much of a presence online outside of Dolphins message boards either. I do have his full name and I tried to track him down with no real luck.

If we do need another GM, I've have a friend who'd be interested. He's a UK-based Fins fan. He's not on here yet - I'll ask him to sign up if he might fit the bill?

Adam hasn't been on the board, even to lurk without posting, in five months, so at this point I think we have to assume he isn't going to be here for the fantasy league. My personal view is that anyone who's interested and willing to put the time in would be good to go. We've had quite a lot of turnover the last few years, including me joining.

Thanks for the intro Simon. As already mentioned, if the slot for the vacant GM spot does stay open, then I'm definitey interested in coming on board. If not and you do hear from your mate at the eleventh hour, then no worries either.

Be good to get the details for the league/team I'm potentially taking over at some point this weekend if possible to start planning ahead of Monday.
