All eyes on the MIN/CAR game in my playoff matchup. Forsett has Keenum and Rudolph, while I have both of the Vikings RBs. We clearly have different ways that we want them to move the ball! I also have Funchess and the Panthers defense, so all told, it looks like at least five total starters in that one game. I'll actually only have two other starters playing in any other game on Sunday afternoon. It'll be interesting if it comes down to DeVante Parker vs Brandon Cooks on MNF.
Well, I was feeling pretty good about the Falcons/Saints game when I went to bed at half time. Apparently Matt Ryan imploded in the third quarter. Not the best start for me.

The good news is, hes playing Tampa. The bad news is, its Austin Hooper. Hopefully he can deliver something reasonable like 5 catches-50 yards and a td. That would get it done. #AmazingAnalysis
Given the nature of our dynasty league, is it possible/should we eliminate the consolation bracket next season? I've put my best team out there for pride and to be professional, but since I'm out of the running for the title, I would have frankly rather just taken the higher draft pick after I lost the playoff game.
OK cool. What about playoff teams who lose before the final though? For example, I was the 6th place team going into the playoffs, I lost in the opening round, but I put my best team out there and won the meaningless consolation game. Do I draft 7th or 8th? In the NFL system, as the lowest ranked team going into the playoffs, I would be the first playoff team to draft, I believe.
8th..... and you should always be trying to put your best team out there. Other people are watching and can tell when you don’t. Dignity is more important than draft slot.
I'm super curious/anxious to see where Sammy ends up next year, especially after having a healthy season (knock on wood). So who you want at #5? Dont worry, I won't touch him at 4.
So, what are the rule for the offseason in the league? Are we just on hold/blackout until around training camp, when our draft is held?
Since this will be my first offseason doing this, It'll an an extra level of intrigue to the real draft too, obviously. Seeing where the top QBs, RBs and WRs go, and then making a plan of attack to get some of them onto the team. Really cool.
