Not after this coming year, no.

Well, we can count on at least half of Dion Jordan's number being free, since the odds of him being on the roster next year aren't exactly strong. I would also expect that something will be done with Cam Wake. Far too early to guess at exactly what just yet. Jordan Cameron won't be under that cap number either, for better or worse, nor do I expect Greg Jennings to be. If need be, Misi and Fields can be cut to free up most of their numbers too.

If Maxwell didn't lose a dime, we should be at 19-20 million under the cap right now, according to Sportrac. We can also free up almost 5 million by cutting Dion Jordan and Dallas Thomas.

updated. The cap room figure of $21.8m does not include draft pick allocation, which is roughly $6.5m (after the trade back from 8 to 13). So, you've got about $15m to play with.... and new signings (UFA's, not street) likely won't happen at this stage until after the mid May cutoff period where new UFA signings don't affect the compensatory draft pick formula. Which, currently we're slated for a 3rd and 5th round pick for the 2017 draft after the Vernon and Miller losses. Should the Dolphins sign a UFA before that mid May cutoff, those compensatory picks could be affected/lost. :pity:

Updated. Tunsil's number included... along with a few FA's. Nothing on Jason Jones #'s yet.

The system isn't perfect, but its really awesome that our 1st round pick is only the 17th highest paid player on the team. Such an improvement from years back.

Update into camp... lots of new stuff into the 51.
